Yeah :50: Would have a lot of sympathy for him if he wasn't so full of himself. Was a decent prospect but like Tony Watt, has blown too many chances of being taken seriously.

He's just plain *, nothing to do with him being arrogant.

Just looks at the ground and runs anywhere.

Hopefully we release him, no point in him hanging about like a bad smell.

I think he deserves to get his chance under Brendan. He turned Sterling into a 40m pound player ffs.

I would keep him. One of our best players when he has confidence and form

Hopefully BR can see something in him and change his mindset and get him to a decent level. The players got talent he just needs to be consistent in showing it.

Personally if he can stay fit I'd keep him as well, he can be a good option at times on the wing and much better than the likes of Armstrong and GMS on the wing for example.

He's strong and pacey and his best attribute for me is winning fouls in dangerous areas. Whoever he comes up against even in Europe he usually manages to go past the player and get clipped and win a set piece. If we get some big players in the box next season and a good set piece delivery taker it could get tasty. People need to remember we'll only have Roberts for one season next year so need to look more long term.

His downside is his crossing and shooting(basically the main skills needed to play on the wing :smiley-laughing002:), they're usually more bad than good reminds me of Sterling in a lot of ways even his running style is similar. Anyway, I'd like to see how he plays in pre-season before passing final judgement.

On a side note seen this on twitter he's been chilling with some ex players recently.

He may as well just go, the personal insults he receives are out of the ordinary and completely irrational, he's not had a great season - however you'd be lying to say there's no correlation between the irrational disliking of him and the fact people want him shot of, "Always injured" is my personal favourite, he's not been injured than a year and a half.

Another club is his only chance at progression, the atmosphere towards him here is bordering toxic.

The fact he hasn't been as injury prone lately and still hasn't made any impact in the side tells it's own story, really.

That's a different story, Ronny firmly stated on various occasions how big a player he though Forrest was - the only reason he never played at the end of Ronny's tenure was he was out of contract and wasn't signing a new one.

His injury's the fact he never played this season are not to do with his ability but rather the fact contract talks broke down and he obviously stated he didn't believe he had a future at the club, possibly a similar situation to Guidetti when we seen * all of him when it was a apparent he wasn't staying.

Just read back through the posts there, I can see you highlighted a part of another post "If only he could stay fit" you reply "Herein lies the problem"

This is exactly my point here your acknowledging he's been fit for a year and a half but the problem still remains with him staying fit? Follows no logic.

By staying fit I'm assuming he was also meaning on form and firing on all cylinders too. Problem is he has shown very little even when fit, as I said to you. I didn't completely agree with you in the fact that he has been fit for a full year and a half though. I don't believe that to be the case.

Maybe no known injuries like he was famous for but fitness wise I certainly don't believe he has always been at 100% in that time. All I said was he hasn't been as injury prone lately, in comparison to recent years where he was never to be found.

I respect that you seem to rate him and always have done with fans who do. However I just cannot take to him and never have been able to.

His career peaked early, and i fear it is a slow gradual downward slope from here onwards.

I remember the 11-12 season when he took the rennes and hibs games by the scruff of the neck. Was great at killie also. The league cup final was comung around vs killie and i said to my mate on the way to Hampden I thought if Forrest could do the same in the final and push us to the title he could go on to great things and be better than mcgeady. Im sure he limped off and didnt play much after that.

Im always willing to let the new manager have a clean slate and see what the players can do. Not sure if he's free to walk away or not
