Seriously I would find it difficult to accept that he was out at 3.30 am.
That's bad enough but if he was drinking it was unacceptable and
although I like James Forrest if he is guilty of what was reported he
    has to be gone .
If our fans cannot take out a flag or banner at 3.30 pm , surely it is
taking the mickey allowing a player to take out his Mickey at 3.30 am.

Thought the wee man was outstanding today, motm imo. Constantly driving at the Motherwell defence. He was popping up all over the place, left, right, dropping into midfield and running at their central defenders.

His final ball could be better at times but by * does he have pace to burn, rosating their back line all day.

    Well played Jimmy.

I just wonder if there's more room to grow, you know?

Injuries may hamper his growth. I hope it doesn't, but I see it happening.

There's no question he's got lots of talent.

    Glad to hear it..

    Love little Forrest..

    Gets mental stick at times..

He needs to improve in certain areas and his decision making but he is a quality player..

Glad to see him making an impact, an injury free James Forest is one of the best players at the club and he still has a lot more potential he just needs a full season without interruption under his belt.

The hate usually comes from the same fans that think Samaras is the messiah.

McGeady got the same treatment from a section of the support, it seems everyone is all for given the young lads a chance but are quick to go against them if they don't turn out to be the next Ronaldhino.

Last lot of games since he has came back from injury hes played fantastic in every single one, what people need to understand as at being a fairly young player hes going to be inconsistent and the injurys dont help. But this is the most consistent hes ever been for celtic, today he even looked like he had that yard of pace back he'd lost quicker than ever.

I thought he was great today
I think that sometimes we underestimate and are more critical of our home grown players.
If he was a signing from Holland for 5 million quid we would go daft over him.
same goes for Mulgrew Brown, and (when they were here) Maloney and McGeady

I cannot deny that the wee man is massively frustrating at times, but when on song he is a real talent, and today he was that. He just needs to add more consistency to performances like that and he will be a real asset to us. With the new boy coming in described as a playmaker we may see a lot more of him getting in behind also.

I can be a harsh critic of his at times, but I couldn't fault his performance today and long may it continue.

I loved him in his breakthrough season. Genuinely thought the lad was fantastic. But he has regressed in my eyes, injuries haven't helped him but. Truth is he has been below average/* for a long while now. Even though he pops up with the good goal now and then. Today I thought he was great. Hope the wee guy gets back to his best soon.

I don't think he has ever regressed he has just found it difficult to be consistent due to injury problems.
