I personally think they are incomparable, barring the position they play and the team they play(ed) for.

    Aye different styles completely.

McGeady has more in common with players like Nani, Di Maria and Forrest is more like your Robben or Giggs style. Like comparing Wanyama with Petrov. Would be good to have both in the same team.

I actually think Forrest is very similar to Alexis Sanchez.

I always get reminded of Forrest when I see Robben too, they have the same kind of arm movements/shoulders and the way they run too.

They have a weir running style where their arms are always flapping about or when they stop or turn they make mad writs movements.

The thing about McGeady was that we often relied too heavily on him, and it would prevent us playing as a team, whereas Forrest is always interlinking with Stokes and Hooper and generally adding to the movement up front.

So, how bad is his injury?

Might be time to unleash McGeouch in his stead.

I said weeks ago that he was the most overrated player at CP. Not interested in putting his foot into a tackle, which is the reason he got injured today, and went missing the entire second half for me.

    Been saying it for ages.

He’s a child who is still developing; an impact sub should be the only role he plays.

Aye he bottled the tackle . In spells he was good today but not seen enough from him for a while now Sammy offers far more wide left than Forrest.

Still a young player with fantastic talent but he needs to learn to be consistent.

Was a passenger the 2nd half. Needs some bench time. Surely Commons or Mcourt are due a run in the team.

:50: Spot on he is a talented young player but way overhyped at times by Lennon and the media even levein on telly today saying he deserves to be part of the full Scotland squad was imo :52: he should be left to develop in the under 21's for the sake of his career before he suffers from burnout imo.

Nonscence. He has fantastic talent, but I would get commons back in the team for sunday. In the past month he has gone way off the boil, too inconsistent, but you have to remember, he is still just 20. To say he will never be anything more than a decent SPL player is ridiculous imo
