    ive never seen a celtic player make so many succesful tackles and interceptions in a match, when he was passing he was always clearly thinking 2 moves ahead, misplaced a few but he really held his own against gerrard

    They are to be honest. He played well but he wasn't outstanding or anything.

    Balde, Mouyokolo and Zaluska were all better.

    Really impressed with the young lad today. If Lennon plans on signing another centre midfielder then I'd definitely loan out Irvine in order to get him regular first team football. The experience of playing at a higher level would do him the world of good in his development. However if there's no new midfielder coming in then there were plenty of positive signs today to suggest that this young lad could be a good asset to our own first team this season.

    Was also really impressed with Balde, Mouyokolo and Darnell Fisher today.

    Really good game from the lad today ...held his own ..not frightened to get stuck in ..If we look at his performance today I feel he is going to get some game time soon in the league

    dont shoot me down here, but he plays very simmilar to javi martinez, both can play centre back if need be, but are perfectly comfortable going forward, he can tackle and dribble past opponents
