Jozo’s played double the career games that he has. I don’t think he can be classed as inexperienced anymore.

Let's look at this age issue

Guy is a professional and has been for a minimum of 5 years..

If he were an electrician or a plumber he would be time served and nobody would cut him any slack for getting the basics wrong.

Ajer at 19 who was on loan at Killie the other season , then this guy signed from dundee for 1m with very little game experience.

yet both are supposed to be our main central defenders think about that for a minute , you need quality and experience in defense.

No confidence in dozo and boyata should be shown the door and Comppers a sick note, so theyre all we have atm.

Trouble is choice currently is Jack or Jozo who's confidence seems shattered and looks an utter bombscare incapable of passing the ball 5 yards or Commper who is probably deid

Laughable that we sold Sviatchenko and brought this boy in for the same money.

They are the same age, give or take a matter of months. You can’t possibly back one by saying he’s a young boy without it applying to the other.

The reality is Hendry looks like a teenager and is treated like one when being criticised, Jozo has had a hard paper round so no one suggests his mistakes are down to his age.

Both of them are relatively young. One of them is extremely inexperienced while the other isn’t.

It’s the same reason people don’t really apply that logic to Ajer, even though he is learning a new position. He’s played a lot of football for his age.

Jack looked OK last season. I think Europe was the confidence wrecker. He needs ann old head to work with him in training and guide him through games to make up for the lack of experience he should've had by now. 30+ CB that's fit is what would help Jack grow.

The only thing hendry needs is a new club, o Connell was a far better player and was deemed not good enough .if hendry came through the youth system he wouldn't get a look in but the fact we spent £1.5million on this donkey means he'll be lingering about for years as nobody else would pay anywhere near that money for him. as for feeling sorry for him , * that !! He can dry his tears with the thousands of pounds he gets every week

Hope we can get a decent experienced CB in so Henry can sit on the bench and do a lot of work in training and learn from Kolo. He does have some potential, and if he learns well he could turn into a player.

If we had strengthened the defence with quality like we needed to we wouldn’t need to be starting him. He should be a squad player until he is/ if he is ready.

He shouldn’t be starting all these games especially the CL games. I worry it is doing him more harm than good as he is making so many poor decisions it must be affecting his confidence.

We saw with Gamboa yesterday what a difference confidence makes to a players performance. Hendry just needs some time out on the bench to get his confidence up as it isn’t happening on the pitch for him. Maybe then we will see his performances improve…

I know mate. Really don’t know what the * he was thinking. Then when he tries the drag back without looking if he has a man on when the Partick player was right on him.

He isn’t the man to move into the midfield so I don’t why he is doing it. You can see he is very uncomfortable there. He should just give the ball to Ajer as he is good at it and can pick a good pass.

I know mate. Didn’t realise how bad it was until I saw it for the second time. Horrific.

Had so many oppurtunities to pass it to a team mate. Then doing the drag back without even looking to see if he has a man on! Could have easily resulted in a goal.

its not his age its the lack of games for someone his age

    look at ajer and jozo

he also was one of our youths upto 16

but to be 23 a pro and play very little professional games is really bad basically means he has been stagnating for years when he could have been playing games in the lower leagues and getting match experience, but he wasnt trusted down in the english leagues

i guess for him to be still in the game means a lot of clubs have recognised that he has qualities in him

to me it looks like he should have been playing in the scottish championship to get hardened and remove the brain farts from his game

every game now at least once he loses his concentration or is spooked by an opposition forward pressing him and his head just completely goes, he could have played it to ajer ntcham goalkeeper or smashed it forward or even out the park but his pride worked against him

he should do the simple things well thats what he should be concentrating on, none of this fancy dan stuff

He was * last season as well. We don’t need a 30 plus centre half in just someone with quality.

True, I’d rather we kept Erik even though he was a bit of a poncey *.

We definitely should have sold Sviatchenko, what is annoying is it’s looking a terrible decision now because of how we’ve went about our business.

    Erik wasn’t good enough.

Still * better than what we have now though.

I do feel for him. Think he’ll be a reliable player for us eventually but the pressure he’s under just now is mental. Given a second chance at the club he was released from as a youth player and he’s straight in to massive games due to injuries and poor signings.

I get your point, but I don't think being a spark or a plumber is remotely comparable to being a footballer.
