I know you weren't mate :50: I was just saying that to the whole thread not you. I don't think any Celtic fan could knock Izzy, * I'd say R**g*rs fans would have trouble knocking him thats how good he is.

izzy had a great game his tackling has vastly improved and he did nothing wrong tonight at all, the pitch had a big part to play as there was slight bobbles just as he was delivering the final ball. it affected a few of our players kayal had a good few wayward passes also,

((did anyone see butchers post match interview. haha, fukn sore loser!))

    in lennon we trust

    hail hail:shamrock:

His worst game for Celtic was against St Johnstone a good few months ago when he was taken off for Mulgrew.

He played well last night barring a few slack passes but there wasn't 1 player in a Celtic jersey that didn't make a slack pass.

His ONLY poor display for me was against Hearts at Swinecastle when young Templeton gave him a bit of a roasting :47::47::47:

I thought he played well last night, the only thing he needs to work on is the accuracy of his passing and his final ball. I think his crossing is better when the ball is dead, he really needs to work on his first-time crossing but that's being picky. Contender for POTY, no doubt about it.

Thought he played well actually. A few stray passes but nothing major.

Said in the match thread that I felt it was a game of two halfs for him..

First half he looked like a £15m player but for one cross that was badly overhit..
Passing was excellent in the first 45 minutes also from both left and right foot , the sliding tackle in the middle of the pitch to breakup an Inverness counter attack was something I hadn't seen much from him before.. I think he did something similar again also in the 1st half.. Must be a nightmare for a right back to see him running with the ball because he can telegraph that he's going to knock the ball straight down the line and take you for pace , or do that quick little shuffle he does , shifting the ball from his left to right foot which acts as a pass down the line for himself to run onto , or just cut in with the right foot like he did to set up Ledley for the opener..

Second half I thought he blended into the team , probably as I didn't see him doing anything that really stood out in the 2nd half..

Going by the heading or title of this thread if its in reference to yesterdays game and how Izzy played, I would need to rate him world class then because he was certainly one of our best players in a fairly poor performance overall by Celtic.

I thought Izzy had a good game last night. He cut in and sent in a nice ball for Ledley's first goal. Made 2 outstanding sliding tackles to stop dangerous Inverness counter attacks and was a danger all night. He over hit a few more crosses then normal but still for me he was good and was one of the better players on the park.
