I wouldn't take the risk of doing it over there if I was going.

I know how many in our support feel regarding the whole situation but you'd really be taking a chance, perhaps putting yourself in real danger. We probably won't get a huge support going over and it is in the back of beyond so anyone willing to do it is a braver man than me.

I know folk feel very strongly on this matter, but if you are going to be taking the flag over there and flying it, you are either extremely dumb or doing it to antagonize. The potential repercussion isn't worth the attempt, not matter how strongly you feel and think that your freedom to free speech in this country counts.

Good luck to anyone who attempts it, but you have been warned and it is a stupidly dumb idea, just to try and prove a point.
Better way to do it, and a complete boycott may actually be just that.

Sometimes when in Rome and all that- you need to ask yourself would you walk down the Shankhill Rd with a Tri colour????

I wouldn't even attempt to do this. For one thing you won't be able to get through customs as Israeli customs are the most thorough in the world, they take your rucksack away from you and into a different room, empty it completely and if they see anything remotely suspicious then they will remove it without explanation and they will also ask you a million questions about why you are going and where you are staying. As far as I know they can refuse entry on any grounds they see fit and I'm betting possessing Palestinian paraphernalia will probably cause you to miss the match.

I would just show solidarity at Parkhead and either boycott the away game or go there with no intention of flying flags or making statements. It won't end up good for you.

Once unwittingly ended up in Sandy Row with a tricolour hat on during the fleg protests. Total accident but boy did I shift it out of there.

Why any Celtic fan who is even partially politically aware would attend the away game is beyond me.

We should try our best to be friends with the Israelis, if you go over to Israel take a lebananese flag with you, Israel loves Lebanon.

Gotta tell you, that gave me goosebumps. They are so grateful to the GB just for flying their flag...

Any fans flying flags over there are asking for trouble.....after all the media coverage from our last game the cops ect will be just gagging for a excuse to go wading in.
    Hope no one risks it.

Boycott the game would make more sense than putting money into the Zionist's economy by spending on hotels, beer, flights, tickets, transport and taxes etc.

Any Celtic fan who goes to the away leg, whether they fly the Palestinian flag or not, is contributing to the IDF's next budget.

ANY IDIOT that thinks they can carry a Palestinian flag in Israel, outside or inside the Ground is either stupid, brave or suicidal. I think someone will have a flag and they will be arrested inside Palestine and it could get very politically messy.
If we are going to fly this flag, a flag I love, then we must be clever about it.

The IDF and Isreali Security just DON'T * AROUND.
I hope and pray Nir Bitton has sat the players down and told them what they need to hear, and I hope they relay it to the fans.

Be safe, be clever, whoever is going into the land grabbers Country.
Seriously they defy dozens of UN resolutions DAILY and nothing gets done. They kill innocence who HATE HAMAS....

They really going to care about some * from Scotland, *, thinking they are hard waving a flag they hate? If anyone is arrested for carrying a flag...Then you will lose the lot..Job, wife, home the lot...

Seriously, take the warning and don't go there thinking they will just take the flag from you whilst smiling and say "Have a good day"...
...No, you will be in a Israeli jail with Palestinian haters.

Think about it pheeps...If not for you, then your family and the club

I don't think everyone really grasps the severity of waving a Palestine flag inside occupied Palestine, well, it's called Israel now...

    You get the gist...I hope..
    Please, research this *.
