if the rumour was a load of bullshit and he wasn't going anywhere, then if i was this young 16/17yr old boy and saw all the grief he's been getting 4 no reason i would be out of the club like a shot

why does everybody believe what they hear and let their mouths run off at 100mph?

    Calling him a * & a * telling him to * off & nothing
but bad luck to the wee *,is just people on here voicing their
    opinion.

But don't you dare question these people's support of Celtic fc
& its players & staff, especially if there is a rumour & they
    don't like it:31:

well from what i remember, nobody was actually in for miller when he was feruz's age. Feruz hasnt signed a professional contract with us (to my knowledge) .. miller did. miller also had problems with some injurys and celtic stood by him, but thats different, he was still a professional, not an *. it wasnt until miller had his first team breakthrough that clubs started getting interested in him, whereas for feruz, he's getting interest earlier.

lets just say for talks sake this is all false rumours, and he stays. in a few years people will be crying out for him to get a shot in the 1st team. what happens if he plays a few games and their howlers. people would be calling for his head and saying he should of been punted long ago!

My source suggests that @scotzine is wrong and Feruz isn't leaving #Celtic for #chelseafc. We shall see.

Could be pish, hope not though.

    FFS!

Some really outrageous comments on here by folk - if this isn't true (and even if it is, you should hang your heads in shame).

Yes, Feruz owes Tommy Burns for doing him an excellent turn in helping his family and him. He owes Tommy and should repay him by being the best possible human being he can be, and turning into a good young man in life - not just on the football field.

He does not owe it to Tommy to knock back stupid money coming from London and a better league.

Of course it is always a blow losing 'apparently' good young prospects, but that's the way football is - *, our club has been snapping up young talent from other teams for years - so we have no right to show animalistic animosity towards a teenage boy ffs.

Really disappointed by some of the comments on here - better suited to other forums of the other persuasion:38:

"calling him a * and telling him to * off" is just an opinion?

an opinion based on what? a rumour?

so if there's a rumour that the fans "don't like" it's ok to call that player every name under the sun and then when it turns out to be bullshit cheer him on like he's your hero the next day?

all i've seen on her for past 12-18m is a general wave of criticism of a boy who's never played a competitive game for the first team its a joke

yes he wouldnt get a game at chelsea, he would rot in the youth system for years, and it could be a flop and he ends up a benchwarmer for kilmarnock, or he could go to chelsea impress become a 1st team player by 17 wanted by barcalona or real madrid getting £200,000 a week. or he could stay in celtic earning alot less than hes worth.
yes he owes celtic for how they basically saved his life and im sure he would never forget tommy and what celtic done for him.

but he would be a fool to stay at celtic if an offer like that came about, hes a young boy let him make his own choices or mistakes.

your also all forgetting hes in the scotland national team, some wont agree but were not exactly a great team.
some of our youth playing alongside chelsea regulars could be a great boost for a young player

There could be a lot of people with a lot of apologising to do ! :56:

On RS today they said Chelsea hadn't made an approach to Celtic....

Make of that what you will...?

I think if the guy wants to go then let him go!
if he dosen't have the love of the club, and the wages puportedly on offer are amazing for such a young player he'd be crazy to say no.

i admit initially i was * grade A raging giving the whole "wee * ,* Tommy saved you wheres your morals" blah blah.
but that was just the initial anger as a fan seeping out and im embarassed at myself for such crass thinking especially the whole TB Feruz scapegoat lifesaver attitude it was wrong and is wrong!! end of!
we all know Tommy was a good man very stout in his belief of * and a humanitarian. in the end he was doing the right thing by the kid and his family and his beliefs not of Celtic although we did profit from Tommy's actions.

As long as Celtic are suitably re-financied for the clubs efforts in training the lad which (im sure the whole £300k thing is a pile of *!) im sure we will be then fine we move on it dosen't really have an effect on our team as the guy has never played first team anyway! albeit i really would like to see the laddie in the Hoops.
at the end of the day there is no concrete proof to say that this is a done deal and the poor guy might be getting a serious barrage of abuse for nothing at all!
until its done and dusted the boys a Bhoy and he has my support!

Nobody means any real harm towards Islam Feruz. Some people just get annoyed at the thought of the boy leaving Celtic before we get to see how good he can be. So they have a wee rant.

    No big deal.

Spot on pal :) The day Islam runs onto the pitch at Stamford Brigde in a few years time, is the day he pays back Tommy. Tommy would want the best for this lad, if a big opportunity comes up then he has got to grab it.

Just remember he is playing for Scotland too ;)

I personally don't care about Scotland and my own view is that tommy burns would be very disappointed with the way this lad has conducted himself.

By all accounts he's turned into a billy big time and is hated by fellow youth team players.
He'll fit right in at the London huns.

I've also heard that when he plays his 5 a side games, he does so in his bare feet.

On that note - I tend not to go with something as concrete just because I hear it on the grapevine.
