you know what i feel for players when fans get on their backs. Fans often act with a greater sense of entitlement than players because "they pay the wages"

Miller is a feking w****r , and hes * anyway

He's still quite young. If he can't handle the abuse he shouldn't use twitter.

It goes back to the debate about whether or not football players should be using Twitter. Yes, it's a great way for them to communicate with fans and answer questions etc, but there's been several instances ever since Twitter rose to prominence last year or the year before they've gotten in trouble for using it.
They know what they're getting themselves into by saying these things, they only have themselves to blame. -

If I was working in a bank and a customer ('payer of my wages') came in and started giving me abuse, he'd get his lights knocked out. Don't see why footballers should take so much stick from fans lying down because their purchases contribute to the player's wages.

School boy error from him, as hes only going to get himself fined and maybe suspended.

Hope Majstorovic doesn't have twitter

Rubbish footballer. I'd be raging if we'd signed someone like him.

Steve Cotterill has banned his Nottingham Forest players from using Twitter – but Ishamel Miller will escape a £21,000 fine.
The new Forest boss read the riot act to his strugglers, who host high-flying Middlesbrough on Tuesday, and warned that anyone caught using any social-networking site to talk about club matters will be fined.
Cotterill insists offenders will lose £1,000-a-word, but striker Miller is set to avoid punishment as the rules came in on Monday.
Miller infuriated fans after Saturday’s defeat to Coventry by telling critics to “f*** off” before deleting his tweet.
But Cotterill – whose first game is against Middlesbrough tonight – will be tough as he attempts to guide Forest away from the drop zone.
He said: “I had a rule at Portsmouth that no players could use Twitter or Facebook to talk about the club, team-mates or fans. Otherwise they got fined £1,000-a-word.
"None of them ended up putting over £1,000.
“If someone wants to write a nice paragraph, 20 words in it will cost them about £20,000 – so I don’t anticipate it happening again.” -
Anytime ive seen Miller play ive thought he was apretty decent player.
