You know I did think that myself. We always seem to have go-to teams or agents. This is probably the norm for most clubs apart from the big teams in the top 5 leagues, but something about it always * me off. It doesn't feel professional.

 

Maybe we consider they have pedigree identifying talent in that particular low price market, maybe the contacts built up and the fact rapid are getting a few quid off the Kuhn deal help things along. If he turns out to be Kuhn level at that price it's a no brainer.

Looks very like Kuhn to me in those highlights. I'm not against it but id want it done very quick as it.looks like the lad could do well off the back of a decent strength and conditioning programme. Likely he would also start the season as first choice LW so he needs as much pre season as possible to get up to speed

Sell kyogo and Kuhn for 27 odd mill and replace them with nyren and this lad for under 5..

Tbf Kyogo and Kuhn cost about £8m

 

Looks like he had a knee injury last season, would be my only worry here but looks a good player and has played all across the front 3 which adds to the options.

I’d say he’s more a replacement for Yang.

So by moving Maeda central they essentially are the replacements.

Not saying it's a bad thing, if it works it's the transfer model working exceptionally well

the club taking wild gamble. These players might not settle or hit ground running like Engels . He still hasn’t set world on fire yet. He looks very average so far. Hopefully big improvement this season with him

 

I'd rather they took the gamble than persist with the likes of Yang.

 

Idah and Jota (for different reasons) don't start currently in our front three and they cost significant outlay. That causes issues in what market we are shopping in in those positions imo..

Looks a good player but his best attributes above are in behind where he wouldn't really get that here. Quite small as well although he does look very quick..

Like the look of him but agreed I'd be wanting more and him as a good squad option..
