Is this the end for LENNON

Theres so many different things going on here.
In normal circumstances you'd expect a new manager (or interim) to give a new team a boost, but Lennon's unfortunate in that he's came in before the end of a season thats been a total disaster. He's having to put a team out including the same guys who have been part of the disaster.

Even though on one hand it shouldnt have been too hard for our team to get to the scottish cup final and do fairly well results wise for the rest of the season, im fairly certain that even the worlds best managers couldnt put any heart into some of them players. You can have all the skill in the world, if you've not got heart playing for celtic you are * all. We've seen them before over the years and its usually when the team aint successful.

On the other hand i dont think Lennon's the answer, but still love him and would have him involved with whoever comes in.

Last thing, am generally quite positive and think players can turn performances around, but a reckon we need a big clear out. Samaras out, would sell McGeady, Fortune can go, and a fair chunk of the fringe players. Keane will be gone.
In normal circumstances i'd say sign Kamara but got a gut feeling he's another who would go missing when the chips were down.

Blah blah blah, could go on all night. Murder watching that mob so it is.

 

So the interim manager has said a clear out is needed after 3 games. Im sure Mogga said something similar to begin with. The seson is a write off, there are too many imposters signed by the last 2 managers that we need shot off. theres barely a player I would keep now. Can only hope some play well in the world cup so we can shift them.

He did say that during the interview he said he got stuck into them at half time.

So now you should think the manager has done his job and they haven't listened. you just defeated your whole argument

Any manager would get slaughtered with this celtic team give lennon the job he knows who needs to go and who needs to stay and what we need!!

Im sitting in my chair right now and I dont know what to say, what can be said? If we battererd Ross County from start to finish and carried no luck, I would accept that it was just one of those days, in reality they were outplayed by a team that wouldnt even cut it in the football league 2, McGeady is a * joke no tell you what im going to give ratings, i turned it off after the 2nd goal so these ratings are up to that point, as the second goal went in I punched a door so hard my knuckle started bleeding, not a clever thing to do

Zaluska - 6 Nothing he could do with the goals
Hinkel - 5 Hardlies a threat going forward but pretty solid performance from the German
Naylor 4- Set pieces were usuall * and offered us nothing, * of Naylor we need decent left back
Thompson 4 - Not sure im im being over critical but was done for the first goal, lacks pace and didnt look convincing
O-Dea - 4 Never been his biggest fan, dont rate the lad
N'Guemo - 3 - *, passing was pathetic, far too many loose balls and was saved by Lennon when he was taking off, dont want him back, send him back
Brown - 4 Just beats N'Guemo but was crap himself, never in the game running around like a * for 90mins offered us nothing at all and may aswel have stayed in bed
McGeady - 3 Woeful performance, dont think he beat a man today, full of tricks but got him * nowhere, lightweight who needs to be sold asap
Samaras - 4 Like a fairy, problies the best player in the middle of the park and was pathetic himself, that says it all
Fortune - 3 - Nothing performance, another great piece of bussiness from Mogga
Keane - 6 Never stopped grafting, needs service which none of our * midfield are supplying, was crying out for a decent delivery and never got it from anyone, must be wondering what he came for, was playing them by himself today, but cant give him more than a 6 because they say quality players make chances for themselves

Crosas - 5 No real improvment on N'geumo

McCourt - 6 Didnt have impact needed but was full of energy and tried to be positive with the ball

Ras 5 - Didnt have enough time, why wasnt he brought on at half time for * sake

Basically to shorten that up our current team is an embarasment, not just one or two players who need to be sold, I can only think of 6 players I would keep, Hinkel, Boruc, Rogne, Hooiveld, Ras and Keane but that isnt going to happen. This is going to need about 3 transfer windows to sort this team out, cant see things being better next year, new manager is required and 7 or 8 new players, Im gutted this one result sums up our entire season, whole team should be ashamed and forced to watch the game over and over again

Players who don't give a *

The blame for this embarrassment lies with the players.Robson and macdonald should not have been sold. Celtic need to buy the very best scottish/irish players available like mcfadden,mcarthur,mccarthy(too late), berra, mulgrew and others to play alongside brown,mcgeady and maloney. Apart from Boruc the rest can get to *. We then need to add two or three quality foreign players to the first team but only if they are definitely better than the homegrown players. You have to match other SPL or SFL! teams for determination before you can beat them by playing better football. Apart from a few exceptions you will never get that with soft foreign players who couldn't give two * about Celtic as long as their getting paid.

 

Brown and McGeady were as bad as the rest today and Maloney should never have been allowed back to Celtic Park. He gets injured everytime he ties his boots and thought he was too good for us when he left for Villa

Neil Lennon is spot on. He can only do so much and it is up to the players whether they get a grip of them selves and put the effort in. if you don't believe this concept your a moron. Those players couldn't give a *. They have their thousands a week wages. They're just looking forward to their long summer holiday after we've just spent our hard earned cash on watching absolute dribble.

 

There's no sense in bashing Lenny here, imo. Lenny's point is well taken. These people dont give a * about this great football club. Most of them just want to count their sovereigns here and then hopefully venture down south to play in the premiership, if not for the first time, then have a second go at it.

THE BOARD is to blame for what has happened since the beginning of the last year of WGS' reign. Unfortunately, I think it is going to take another year of misery before Celts for Change is really resurrected. We need to go straight for the board's throat. They need to resign. ALL OF THEM.

Maloney is one of the few quality players we have. As for brown and mcgeady they would be * of alot better if they didn't have to play with the * they are surrounded with.

Honestly cant understand your thinking mate.
Even if Maloney is a quality player, which i dont think he is, he never * plays. He's not doing us any good taking money and sitting in the stand is he?
As for Brown, he's never kicked a ball for us in 3 seasons. Almost as big a waste of money as Fortune
