I think he actually said "It felt like Strachan was lying to us after ever rubbish performance, either that or he actually believed what he was saying."

I think saying that Strachan treated the fans with contempt was a bit strong......but i didn't see any spite or anger in the guys post, just frustration maybe? Anyway mmmikey like you said...no point in arguing now....It's the dawn of a new era....Hail Hail!

History will remember Strachan as a great manager for celtic. In spite of his personality. I had so many great nights watching our team over the 4 years and im sure you all did too. So lets just leave it at that.

There was no anger, I was very frustrated with what I was watching, most people could see the side was in serious decline. Strachan for example told us after losing 4 goals at Pittodrie that everything ent to plan and it was 4 lucky breaks.

Also it was clear that our strikers were struggling from early on in the season due to injuries to Sammy and Jan, In January WGS sent 3 strikers out on lone leaving us very short.

Also he igned guys like Koki, Donati, Flood, Mccourt and rarely used them despite the team struggling and needing fresh legs.

Mowbray hopefully will be honest if we are playing poor and will give others a chance in the team instaed of blindly sticking by players not doing it.

Again no anger I was very frustrated by what I watched and what I was being told last season. Where the league trophy ended up backs this up.

Aye theres no point arguing over Strachan now he's gone but what you originally said did seem to be over the top to me.

I actually agreed with a lot of decisions and comments Strachan made - even the more contentious stuff he said was actually designed to deflect the flak (at least in public) from his players which personally I admired and is something all great managers do.

I actually thought Strachan was the wrong man for the job when he came to Celtic. After Artmedia and Motherwell, I was calling for his head. Shows you just how wrong we can be.
