We were honking in the group stages lol. If beating teams like Karagandy equals success then I'm not buying it.

Still the same manager though :bbpd:

Cost us title after title? He lost it once against a good hun team by 1 point after having to rebuild our team after the mess mogga made with the money he made from selling mcgeady

Sorry...Did you watch us play Shakhtar Karagany and Elfsborg away? We got absolutely pumped in both games down to Lennon's stubbornness and tactics

We were lucky to get there this year

Who the * would take this job? :smiley-laughing002:

when your fans hound you out after winning the league and qualifying for the CL on a shoestring budget, who the * is going to put themselves through that?

As long as we are champions of Scotland and competing in the CL I will be happy. The cups are important but if I had to choose between a treble and CL football it would be CL football every time. That is all that matters in the grand scheme of things. It keeps us ahead of the rest of them.

Let's stop greeting and finish the season strongly.

I'm not sure what I want. Lennon needs to change his style though if he wants to stay because we need to be a lot more ruthless in these important cup games. I don't really know who we could get to replace him that would make it worthwhile. Certainly not Roy Keane, Clarke isn't a bad shout perhaps. I want to give Lennon the chance but he never seems to learn.

Where do people expect us to be, we are realistically never going to get by the last 16 of the Champions league and we are lucky when we get out the groups, we do not have the wages for the kinda players we need to do that! There is no league compeition so week in week out we win most games, so the players become complacent because of the lack of competition in the normal league games. Lennon does well with our situation, he shouldn't be sacked, he has gotten us into the champions league, and into the last 16 last year. Cup games are always tricky, the teams know they wont win the league so give their all in those games so they can win something in the season.

Hate been the team in the groups to make up the numbers. Getting pumped in the groups is unsuccessful I'm afraid.

I think now is the time to go, it doesn't look like he can take us any further forward.

What is this shoestring *. Our budgets huge compared to the European giants of Karagandy, elfsborg and cliftonville. Qualification is almost a given.

    Talk some amount of *?

Here's your quote: "He is useless when it comes to important games"

Now, unless the rest of us are completely blind, how the * were those not important games?

And, eh, try and debate on what I'm actually posting, instead of going off on other stupid wee tangents.

    No chance.

His only mistake today in my opinion was starting Samaras. He should've been nowhere near line up.

I dont think anybody can say he's taken us as far as we can go but in the same sense no manager can really take us much further because the last 16 is the best we can do but i suppose we could win more cups.

Why are so many still seeing this as some sort of achievement? At the moment, failing to win the league would be the biggest shock in footballing history.

It's a formality. And qualifying for the CL? We played a team from Kazakhstan, Elfsborg and Cliftonville:smiley-laughing002: We have more money than all three of them combined.
Again, anything less than qualification would be poor.

Some people need to realise that we have NO competition from a financial perspective. If ur telling me winning the league is hard to do when u have no serious contender then you are deluded. Most people on here would win the league as manager of Celtic. What else has Neil and the team achieved thst u say well done? The Champions League qualifying route is now much easier than when O'Neil & Strachan were in charge. We no longer have to play teams in the CL qualifiers from England, Spain, Germany, Italy & Portugal
