I’ve never mentioned the term conspiracy, nor have I witnessed other Tims doing so.

    So, no.

But unfortunately the unsavoury history of Scottish football – which has been riddled with institutionalised bigotry - means we are right to be naturally sceptical about some of the rather dubious (and that’s being euphemistic) incidents that frequently happen during our games.

I think John Reid summed it up nicely at the AGM last year when he said: 'We won’t be treated differently anymore… those days are gone'.

    <!--[if gte mso 9]><xml> <w:WordDocument> <w:View>Normal</w:View> <w:Zoom>0</w:Zoom> <w:punctuationKerning/> <w:ValidateAgainstSchemas/> <w:SaveIfXMLInvalid>false</w:SaveIfXMLInvalid> <w:IgnoreMixedContent>false</w:IgnoreMixedContent> <w:AlwaysShowPlaceholderText>false</w:AlwaysShowPlaceholderText> <w:Compatibility> <w:BreakWrappedTables/> <w:SnapToGridInCell/> <w:WrapTextWithPunct/> <w:UseAsianBreakRules/> <w:DontGrowAutofit/> </w:Compatibility> <w:BrowserLevel>MicrosoftInternetExplorer4</w:BrowserLevel> </w:WordDocument> </xml><![endif]--><!--[if gte mso 9]><xml> <w:LatentStyles DefLockedState="false" LatentStyleCount="156"> </w:LatentStyles> </xml><![endif]--><!--[if gte mso 10]> <style> /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0cm 5.4pt 0cm 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0cm; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-ansi-language:#0400; mso-fareast-language:#0400; mso-bidi-language:#0400;} </style> <![endif]-->Fair play to Reid. And fair play to Lennon. Of all the things you could criticise him for, confronting these unsavoury aspects, should not be one of them.

All poor decisions that go against us must be challenged. I really don't see why we should just expect to sit at the back of the bus.

The servility among some Tims these days really is disgusting.

We don't have a * given right to be better than Hearts every single time we play them, there's going to be close games which can be decided by the referee through shocking decisions, and unsurprisingly we're on the wrong end of it again today.

Don't remember too many dreadful decisions under MON really, do you? Nowhere near as bad as it is now. Thompson being sent off after Lovenkrands done a Lafferty springs to mind, and that was widely publicized. The bad decisions really only came into prominence in recent times in 09/10 under Mowbray, that season was just ridiculous.

not seeing a huge decision and giving it and then seeing one at the other end and not is something that has to be seriously questioned

There isn't widespread premeditated cheating against us.

what there is though is an organisation who historically employ people of a certain persuasion and then promote them quickly through the ranks if they perform "admirably".

They do take on the odd "token tim" now and again but he has to prove himself to be a soup taker of the highest order or he will find himself demoted quickly down the divisions.

The same applies to those not of the tim persuasion. If they question the status quo or make too much noise then they are hounded out and villified through the establishment media and painted as some kind of crackpot with a hidden agenda.

See Craven and Richmond for clarification.

I worked in a few hun infested workplaces myself growing up. I never lasted long because I wouldn't toe the line.

    The SFA is no different.

There is definite incompetence but those suggesting there is NO corruption and there never has been needs to remove their head from the sand.

We have made great in roads over the past couple of years into forcing greater transparency in the Scottish game. Through that transparency we have unearthed corruption.

If you don't think that is the case you can go and chap Billy McNeill's door and ask him what he thinks. Who else would be better placed than he?

I doubt it given that Jock had his run ins with refs as well.

Read earlier that he was on the verge of throttling the ref after the 1970 Scottish Cup final............

Forgot about that one, that was scandalous.

Though least we went and humped Liverpool at Anfield a couple days later. :50:

Incompetant refs? YES.. Biased refs? YES. For those thats fed up hearing about conspiracies, ask yourself this...when was the last time Rangers were dealt a wrong decision that prevented them from winning a game? And how many have we had in the last 4 years or so...exactly!

If the SFA really want to quash the accusations of biased refs then why dont they bring in foreign refs again? Surely that would put to bed every accusation from smaller teams fans that the big two get all the decisions and also any accusations from us?...The only team that would have a problem with bringing in foreign refs, I suppose would be Rangers!

Also, this ref we had today, yes Ive seen him about in a few games this season but what has he done to merit a Scottish Cup semi final at Hampden Park?

Spot on, i touched on it earlier. Some folk have a romantic notion of the olden days. They don't realise there is plenty of documented evidence of Big Jock tearing those scumbags a new one. I remember reading a few articles of folk who were actually scared of him.

You have to ask yourself why he would make a comment like that if there wasn't anything shifty going on :86:

To be honest I get more fed up reading cliché stuff like 'Well if you play well enough then Referees can't affect the result'

No team can play that much better than their opponents every week. Play like Billy have come out and said their was a biased against Celtic. The worst part is when I read journalists say 'There definitely used to be a biased against Celtic but there isn't any more...' and the incidents like Dougie-gate occur.

four years we have had more bad decisions against us in the past 4 weeks than the huns have the past 10 years
