That is a shocking tackle from Black, can clearly see he has no intention of going for the ball, then has the audacity to claim for a foul right after it.

So... Refs caught lying to get lenny sent to the stand for the Second Half in the Old Firm match. Surely happens to everybody ALL the time eh?

    Scum.

I remember getting ridiculed by some on here after the 3-2 game v rangers for suggesting the referee and his linesman might have lied about sending Neil off.

    What utter paranoia.

Think the point was he shouldn't have been sent to the stand. For that he should have received a 2 match ban, but they decided that the one half in the stand was enough punishment. More than likely down to they knew they were wrong and didn't want Celtic and their legal team to bitchslap them.

Can a manager do something bad enough to get sent to the stand but not bad enough to get suspended? Anyone know if this happened in the past? I assume it has

Don't think it has mate. From what I can make out due to "discrepancies" in the match report, instead of dishing out a ban (which should have been given in accordance to the rules) they've realised they * it and if they tried to hand out a ban they would have ended up in court (knowing Celtic they would have no problem in doing so).
Another story of 2 officials with contradicting stories.

Tbh that's besides the point anyway - whether what Lennon done justified him not being on the touchline for the second half, the fact they felt the need to lie in order to attempt to further ban him today in front of the SFA is the main issue here.

    Yes.

Any coherent explanation for this one or are we being paranoid?

Yes I think Jock Stein summed it very nicely when he said " Celtic have to be so good that the input of the match officials is really irrelevant ", remember Big Jock had to contend with the likes of Tiny Wharton, Davie Syme and many other dodgy Establishment loving referees, however he beat them all.

Lennon has to be far more measured when he is dealing with today's Establishment referees, running on to the pitch and snarling wins you nothing, however turn the tables on them by asking them to justify such stupid decisions, asking them to justify their existance as SPL referees by performing at far better standards than they currently aspire too.

We all know that the SFA, SPL and Referees Association have played their part in handing Rangers the three SPL titles until this season, it wasn't that Rangers were the better team, it was simply down to the fact that Celtic were penalised more and at vital times during the season, The Establishment were indeed working overtime.

Okay we know that the Establishment have no doubt been working behind the scenes to save Rangers Football Club from going into liquidation, handshakes have been running riot in certain quarters, however even all those brothers can do nothing to save the Huns and their club.

It's funny that when Rangers first went into adminstration I really didn't fancy watching SPL football without the thought of four Celtic & Rangers games a season, however after witnessing the Establishment at work within the SFA, SPL and the Referees Association at Ibrox during the last OF game, the League Cup Final and the Scottish Cup Semi-final I have really changed my mind, I really don't care anymore, let see the Establishment's favoured sons go out of business.

Thank * for Saint Craig Whyte, the only man who really cares for Rangers Football Club, that's why he owns the biggest amout of shares at Ibrox !!!

Possibly. People on here say the referees have admitted there was no swearing yet every report I have read since has Calum Murray saying NL swore directly at him. Most reports go as far as to quote NL as saying "get a f***ing grip", which I realise is hardly the most offensive of language but if somebody came to challenge me using that language in my line of work I would make sure they are punished also, and I am sure most people on here would say the same.

why should we have to still put up with establishment referees are we not allowed a level playing field like everyone else and maybe he ran onto the pitch because he knew that a certain mr conquer would try and fabricate yet another story to see him banned and had he not won todays case who knows how it might have turned out

Any of my fellow fans who doubt the bias want to give me some examples of this sort of thing happening to any other club? Seems this thread came to a grinding halt when I asked for evidence of this before. Weird that. Maybe I'm paranoid.

this would be reports in the mainstream media who by all accounts don't have a * clue about the subject they are reporting on and are known to fabricate source more than referees fabricate match reports

It's strange that, isn't it? I mean, there are loads of evidence given in this thread of genuine attempts to cheat against (not even counting decisions like Sunday) that those peddlign the paranoid * can't respond with similar treatment of other managers/ teams! Een Jock Stein, our greatest manager ever, has alluded to the cheating refereeing establishment in Scotland.
