I'll always support the national team, but I won't go to the games unless I happen to be in the vicinity. I won't put myself out anymore. I spend enough money following Celtic and any spare cash goes on buying Celtic gear.
After supporting my family Celtic has first call on my support.

 

i know lots of plastic paddies...they support ireland simply because of the irish connection at celtic, listen to folk music and suddenly develop an anti british sentiment, although they know as much about politics as polar bears know about ice skating..

 

Good quote, everyone should take an interest in their national team, international matches are a fantastic experience and they provide a bit of variety from the league, Motherwell. ICT and Hearts et al, so long may they continue and international appearences enhance the value of our players so they are good for business (injuries are a pain in the * tho!)

Don't know mate, supporting the national team is ingrained into me. I don't care if Scotland don't play fancy football like Celtic, i will support them because they represent my country and its patriotism on my part.

Can't beat a good Euro/World cup tourny imo.

 

I always like to see the national side do well. So, they don't do well all that often...That's just how it is. We are a smaller nation but as patriotic as any. I will always support Scotland.

Always love watching Scotland play, as wella s Celtic. But Scotland playing seems to bring the whole cotry together, which is great

 

i love ireland just as much as celtic i support my country in any sport they compete in come on the ireland rugby world cup will be ours

 

Shame they only beat Namibia by 15 points! Ireland ftw!
