Infractions for Signature Violations

I know that, the quote isnt even accredited to anyone. Whats the problem?

 

cmon mate its on page 1 ,quoted by CE not but the next post you added it in to mine ,a mix up , im not arguing im trying to sort out a mistake thats got me an infraction ,my sig was sized correctly and i didnt have 2 pics ,and i never quoted the above statement ,so how am i in the wrong

Post the signatureat the time that I infracted you so and I'll tell you again if it was too big. All of it.

 

and get another infraction ,know daft ,there is know way round this for me ,but i know whos right ,thats good enough for me ,ive explained on this thread and via pm ,that my sig is proper sized as it allways has been ,then you asked ,didnt i have 2 pics ,then a quote ,i never said ,no win situation here with this ,but im not into playing games and will accept it and move on ,dempsey its down to principle with me ,and im an honest guy ,

 

Can I ask why I've been given an infraction for a post made on the 10th and this thread was made on the 11th? A simple "Please check the signature rules" would have done the job. I had a sig for months the same size on here, and nothing has been said of it. I make a post on the 10th and I get an infraction after a thread is made telling people to change them on the 11th? Am I missing something here?

OK.. but like I said it wasn't a problem when I made my last posts, 2 days ago, but a day later when I get zero warning for not being online, I suddenly get an infraction for it? How does that work?

It's like someone eating a cake on monday and suddenly on tuesday cakes become illegal, so they get punished for eating the cake on the monday.. Like I said, I may be missing something so please point me in the right direction to what I've missed. Otherwise the infraction was unjust.

 

To be fair to the mods, the sig size limit of 300x100 has always been in the forum rules, it just seems like nobody was too strict about it

 

Take it or leave it guys ,i dont think dempsey will mind me saying this , i would accept what youve got and clamp it ,the rules are there and are been used by the moderators ,so if you like talkceltic ,go to another thread and enjoy

 

That's all I'm asking, is to be pointed to the thread where it says that. I'm wodnering what I've missed. My sig wasn't over the top like some others and I certainly hate sigs which are stupidly big for no reason at all, which is why I kept mine to a reasonable size.

EDIT, nm,i found it myself. my sig was 53.4kb and wasnt hosted on this server. I think giving people such little time to change them (i.e i hadn't logged on since it changed) is the only problem I have.

 

Tbh, it's true that the normal file size in graphics forums is 500x200px, but that is understandable as the whole site is basically dedicated to sigs.

However, this is a Celtic based forum and graphics aren't a necessity - they aren't needed at all. Actually, considering all of the * some people are doing about something that doesn't even matter, you're lucky the admins haven't even banned sigs altogether.

An infraction is a warning over just removing the signature and banning the user for x amount of days. A warning is only used for new members in certain scenarios.

You are regulars, you should know the rules well by now.

And yes Dazza is 100% correct in what he is saying. you get a PM about the rules, there are announcements in every forum displaying the rules, there is a sticky in this forum.

It is your responsibility to read and understand the rules. If you dont understand or need clarification, you post in this forum.
