    People's eyes have become trained not to see announcements or stickies because nobody sees the rules, they keep asking me for them when i pull them up, yet they are in every forum as an announcement or a sticky!

    If I sticky this, I'll get a thread asking about where the thread went!

    But yes, i'll create a sticky for Signature resizing but i fear that it will be overlooked time and time again.

    I don't want to seem presumptuous, but I think part of that could be because stickies actually get moved to a different area on the layout, instead of just staying at the top.
    I know I've kind of come to a point where I automatically glaze over the "sticky section" and straight to where I know people are posting.

    dempsey i recieved an infraction last night regarding this ,my sig was within the requirements ,mines was 45kb and the ruling is 50kb ,cant you lift my infraction

    Actually your signature was over the dimensions but not over the filesize but yet it took up like the space of 3 good paragraphs! Hence no infraction for you. Cheers for changing it though, signatures arent suppose to eyesores.


    And just to clarify, 2 pictures will be treated like one, if the combined size exceeds the limit, you get an infraction for that aswell.

    Dempsey can you just clear something up, the rules are 300 x 100 or 50kb( whichever is smaller) I take it that mean that no sig should be bigger than 300 x 100 and file size comes into play if it is animated therfore takes up more kb's ?

    Hmmm, yea. The wording could be and instead of or because there is a loophole where you can make a big sized image taking up * all filesize. Signature are not suppose to be eyesores

    I'll change that now. This doesnt affect anyone's infraction as this makes the the rules rigid, not flexible.

    Your sig is 250x100 and thats the way we want signatures, small, not big * off things attached to a one line post. The page should be full of posts, not big signatures.

    Actually the filesize of the image is too big, please change it

    The dimension is fine but it has to be less than 50kB, yours is ~54kB
