I hope Neil Lennon is not forced to leave because of further threats from these mindless bigots, however it happened I would love to see Hendrik Larsson being given the opportunity to become our next manager.

lol why would lambert leave? hes 2nd in the championship most likely going to go up to the premiership next year. * be given at least 15m to help him bring in players. why would he leave and come to celtic who have already got a great sqaud but * need his own players?

and if the bombs scare of 1 manager would it not happen to all managers?

Strachan. He is available. He knows the club inside out. He has a ratio of success in the SPL only Stein has ever surpassed. He also has a lot of CL experience and is our most successful ever manager in CL football. I would just offer him a one year deal as a kind of caretaker but I think he could do very well with this group of players in Europe. He is one of the few Scottish managers who has cracked CL progression and he did it without superstars. I dont think there is the slightest chance of getting a bigger name, especially now the world knows the grief Celtic managers can get. Dont think he would touch it though.

Sad to say it but the unheard of levels of bad treatment the current manager is getting will really put off some people from the job. Its gone from goldfish bowl to life threatening.

Moyes has spoke of his frustration of never winning a trophy as manager a couple of times this season.

Moyes is an interesting one. He's really taken Everton as far as he can. All he can realistically do now is match his previous achievements, I'd imagine you would lose motivation eventually in that situation. I still couldn't see Moyes being interested in the Celtic job at this stage. He might be holding on to see if he gets a shot at the Man Utd or Tottenham jobs.

Just say we did win the league and this * continued or got worse and lenny stepped down.Would it be possible for us to withdraw from the SPL and still fulfill our european duties and just play freindlys for a season. It would show that * hole of a league just how much they need us

Moyes has already stated in an interview some time ago that one day he wants to come back to glasgow and manage a "glasgow" club, he was then asked if this club was celtic and he said yes.

At the moment i want Lennon to be here for 10 in a row but hypothetically if he were to go then the manager i would want to see at celtic would be Moyes, i think hes got a good blend of being a realist in terms of tactics etc... although as i said i would prefer that it wouldn't have to come to trying to get a new manager.

Personally I feel the trend for the clubs to seek diehard club men whose background mirrors that of the fans may make the rivalry more nasty and certainly makes everyday life harder for the managers themselves. Fans love their own Mr Club but they really hate the other clubs Mr Club. I think perhaps (as well as plain bigoted madness) that this is a factor. We never hated someone like McLeish that much and Rangers didnt have such strong hate for Wim or Strachan (so it seems). Although I think Lenny has done brilliant and its tragic what has happened to him, I still believe that the club were retreating into the past when they were looking for managers after WGS and it was pretty clear from the shortlist Mogga emerged from that far too much weight was put on have someone who would be seen as 'one of us' by the fans. Rangers have dont that too. Personally in both cases I think its a sign of clubs lack of confidence when they do this as they know that club men will get tons more goodwill and leeway and if it goes wrong they can blame the fans and most of our success over the last 20 years has come with managers with no real Celtic links. Possibly the nastiness of the rivalry would be cooled a little if Celtic and Rangers next managers cannot be seen as a fan in the hotseat.

If lenny has to leave because of these cowardly *,then every manager in this league, should walk out in protest against these faceless shitebags.

The current set up is working well so if Lenny decided to leave then give big Johan the job.

I wanted Craig Levein to get the job before Lenny, so if Lenny does quit, I will be lobbying for Criag Levein to get the job again.
