I use forums where my post count is dwarfed by comparison. It doesnt bother me what post count the other lad has:celt_2:

There is a function where Admins can put what words would be censored and they would come up as either

    S***

    or

    ****

If you go into ANY forum, you will see 2 announcements over the forum content. The first is about Gold Membership, the other is about the Board Rules. You also recieved a PM upon joining asking you to read the board rules and a link is provided so pleading ignorance wont wash with any of the staff.

People would just start coming up with different ways of swearing like '*' or 'shoite' or 'cuunt'

The £5 is a donation towards server fees. I wouldn't call it a charge for the GM forum.

The GM forum is just something else you get as a reward for donating. That's why it's not moderated. You can post whatever * you like because you've contributed towards the cost of running the site.

I've never really got why people would spend a fiver on the Gold thing.

    What don't you get?

It costs a lot to run the site.
    People love posting here.
So they donate money to make sure the site stays open.

    It's why I paid.
