he is too greedy for me and his end product isnt the best? and selling him will give us good money to re-invest in the team. and yes perhaps he has played ok but either way keep or sell? im not too fussed tbh.

 

Dont buy the end product thing at all.

The wee man has already stuck the ball in the pokey a few times this season and thats 2 games in a row he's dropped the ball perfectly on Samaras' head.

He puts the ball in the box every time he hits the byeline, its not like he puts it into row Z that the vastly over-rated Agathe used to do, its just that we dont have a BBJ or Sutton to get on the end of it anymore.

Caldwell - obvious

McManus - need replacement, but there are better out there if we can get a ~2m give or take a few for him.

Flood - I think we can still get some cash for him somewhere. Somebody will surely recall he was very effective in SPL

Mizuno - Only reason we haven't sold him yet is to keep some visage of interest from Asia. With Zheng here now and Ki coming in no need for it anymore. Japan-Railways-East/Furukawa-Electric United was eager to have him back (but have just been relegated so that's not an option)... in any case, Urawa are always eager to waste large sums of cash on over-rated players returning from Europe. They'll pay 500k-1m for his contract. Just like Ono, Alex, Takahara, etc.

Brown - He'll be worth a few million to somebody in EPL and we won't really miss him afterall. I was wrong in preseason... we should have sold him then.

 

Can I say our entire board? maybe we could get 20 quid for the lot.

Yes, sell the left back who came in this season and is doing his job. Also sell the top and most natural goalscorer, and also sell the midfielder who seems to be finding his stride.

I would keep boruc and zaluska. Sell anybody else, raise some funds and bring in a proven top class manager. maybe trappatoni or someone of that kind of experience.

The first 3 listed would be more than welcome to stay i mean if i had to pick 5 players to leave they would actually be Mizuno,Flood,McManus,Killen and Naylor but where does that get us in terms of money to go out and spend! I mean you would be looking at £2 million maybe for all 5 of them!! Maloney , Robson and McDonald could get us in excess of £10 million to develop the team further!

 

I think you're indulging in wishful thinking there tbh. I think we'd get about £7million in total for those three players. Robson would fetch about £1million, Maloney would fetch £2million at most and McDonald we could maybe get £4-5million for. I don't think £10million would be achieveable selling those 3 players.

 

Yes , I have overpriced them slightly but you get the just of it.
