The stewards at Parkhead took the * biscuit last night, the same * who cant stop a wee junkie getting on the park v Man u and copped us a £40,000 fine. * them, and remember lads, stewards are technically not allowed to touch you unless you are running onto the park etc. and if you ask a steward for their name and number legally they have to give you it. Stick in a complaint mate

btw, you didn't by any chance participate in the walkout on Saturday?

 

That's shocking. To be honest Celtic Park has lost quite a lot of attraction to me and this is one of the reasons why. I loved the atmosphere as a kid and the commradrie but things are * now in the stands.

Next time they tell you to sit down, tell them your are going to the loo. Go off the come back. If they come back for more, tell them you need the loo again. Will be a wee game before long. lol

i was late for the game for the walk out i wondered what was hapning with all the people leaving i dont no why we were wearing poppys on our shirt when half the spl wasnt?

Media Relations I'd start with, tell them you are going to talk to the paper about your treatment?

 

Sounds as if the steward and the polis were completely OTT.

As zmcfc says you can get the stewards name and number, then put in a 'written' complaint about him, it'll stay on his record.

If he is an acting like that more folk will do the same

 

you would have been better bullshitting then suggesting you requested a seat at the back of the stand as you suffer from deep vein thrombosis and you really need to stand up

if in doubt , humour and ridicule , they wouldnt have expected it

they would have apologised to you !!

 

a couple of seasons ago when we were playing barca i got lifted before getting into the game because the stewards were refusing to let a guy in saying he was drunk, i argued with them in a nice way of course and ended up getting lifted myself..... for being drunk in the stadium. im teetotal ffs
i complained to celtic and threatened to go to the papers. i got the next 4 celtic v rangers tickets for ipox. stand up to the fukrs

Arnt the steward some sort of agency staff... employed from a private company?

About this thread... mate you need to get on the horn and make a verbal compaint to customer service explaining EVERYTHING (remember to get the persons name and ext num!!)

Then, write to the club, both email and letter. Both exactly the same. Re-itterating that you are disgusted that you were removed from a game for STANDING???!!! even though you have been a paying customer of ST's for 5 years.

Keep copies of everything.

I would second the idea of threatening of going to the media... tis something that we really dont need right now however they can get it right * up them if theyre treating their fans like this.

Aye, make an official complaint of that security companies handling of the matter. It cannot be ignored.

is it just me that feels it slightly harsh that celtic are getting the blame for some of this. i agree that it is disgraceful that this has happened, but it is the police & the stewards neither who are employed by celtic fc but through another company.

i do agree with other comments thought about contacting celtic regarding the matter cos the twats that treated the original poster in this way should be dealt with!
