When will that be? Lenny was here 4 years and was never backed! The figures show that he made a massive profit on transfers.

I obviously don't have evidence but I think that is what is happening.

There are no other Large PLC's in our League. It can be difficult to attract good players when there's so much money for mediocrity 100 miles down the road. I think a lot of people make the assumption that we openly sell players for the money when its possible privately the players want to leave and do not want to sign a new contract.

Agree with the CL spot comment, but like I say spending does not guarantee success. Balde, Pukki, Derk and a few other duds could tell you that.

Here's an idea: spend money now; qualify; get more money; still have money for when the time is right, whenever the * that is.

If using the money to qualify for the CL isn't right time then I don't know when is.

I was joking when I said we had found Lawwell's login, I'm starting to wonder now...

When the sevco are back in the League, it's all about protecting that CL spot, when we outmuscle them financially we will spend when we have to. There is no point just now as we'll win the League anyway.

No need to get smart with your comments pal, just cause you've got thousands of posts and a lot of free time doesn't mean you have to be smart about it.

We don't even have to make an impression in the competition proper. All we need to aim for is qualification ahead of NK * Maribor.

It's all about protecting the CL spot?

The CL spot we just lost twice in the one season?

Away and have a lie down son.

But to do that you will risk losing trust with the fans, which is exactly what the board have done. And remember it will take many years for Rangers to get back to "reasonable" strength. That's why we need quality now.

Well then I probably wouldn't call other people idiots for having an opposing opinion.

Me personally, I want to know where we are spending this money and feel the board owe us an explanation.

    Hilarious. :smiley-laughing002:

    Unbelievable, actually.

No value in a Champions League spot if we fail to qualify, is there?

Protecting a CL spot that is worthless if you don't invest in the team and make the Group stage? That CL spot??

What you're basically advocating here is us running our club on the basis of what Sevco do. As long as we stay ahead of them that's good enough. Sorry, not for me. You may be right in suggesting that's what our board are doing but if they are then they should be chased from the club.

I'm pretty * angry about this particular subject but my anger is not aimed at you, it is aimed at those you are defending. So if you think I'm trying to be "smart", do try and realise that it really isn't you I have the problem with. It's difficult to keep on an even keel when you are discussing something you are passionate about.
