He's a lot bigger and stronger than Brattbakk from the few times i've seen him, works hard and puts himself about more. I think he'd do ok in the spl but i can't see him getting more than maybe 15 goals a season max.

To be honest probably not as I always got the impression that he was some sort of wing forward. I would like the option though and would be happy if we signed him.

Perhaps we initially offered 1.2, upped it to 1.5, then they wanted 2?

IMO, if he signed, we might switch to a 433....

    Huseklepp---Hooper---Commons

I think that would be pretty good.

If what someone said he puts himself about a bit thats good

Maybe he'd be a bit like Commons hopefully

play him on the opposite wing from commons

I would play him in attacking midfield just behind Hooper. That way he would provide a strong physical presence, a goal threat and a link from the midfield to the attack. He has the legs to be very dangerous in that role.

    Huseklepp the Hunskelper!

Has a nice ring to it. Decent player, better than Stokes or anyone below him in the pecking order.

I don't know why people are getting too excited he has an abismal goalscoring record.

Just checked wiki for his stats (not always the most reliable source), but his scoring record isn't great. Less than one goal every four games in Norwegian football, doesn't fill me with great confidence. I really have no idea what style of player he is...wiki says he is '6ft 2in', I would assume a target man? or does he have pace to match his height? or is he great on the ball?

Any ideas? Surely his (potential) signing must on the basis that he will contribute to the team rather than be a goal threat?

    Advice Please :icon_mrgreen:

To compare him to a player in our team I would say Samaras, likes to drop deep, come off the wing, not that physical for his height but has decent pace. He is better and more skillful with the ball at his feet than samaras. I wouldnt sign him as I dont think he will improve our 1st team
