The absolute priority tomorrow is to stop leaking goals against them. 9 in 3 games just isn't good enough, any team is gonna struggle against any other team with a record like that. Then we need to stop the fannying-around in and about our own box, taking needless chances, getting backed into a corner and getting caught on the ball. A massive part of sevco's gameplan relies on us doing that. I've been saying stuff like this for a while though and nothing changes so I don't imagine it will tomorrow. I'll be at work anyway and tbh I'll be glad to miss the match. Score could be anything. A 2 or 3 goal win for either team wouldn't surprise me in the least. Hopefully it'll be us HH

We have one really important game left this season, and this isnae it.

I hope we don't risk any of our players that may be carrying any knocks in preparation for the cup final.

Clearly that is the mind set with Johnstone not playing tomorrow. Hopefully if Kuhn does play tomorrow its because he is 100%. Forrest can and should start if there is any issue with Kuhn at all.

Can't agree with that. Every game is important for every player at every club. This is their livelihoods. Professional pride where people spend a lot of money to support them.

This dead rubber match against them is nonsense as well. Anyone who says different isn't being honest. They'll be * and hurt if we were to lose 3-0 again at Ibrox and rightly so.

I've had a pretty rough week so not given this game a seconds thought until now. Maybe just real life stuff getting in the way but I've never been less interested in a Derby game. The Jota injury just kind of adds to the general malaise I feel.

Even with injuries, we really have no excuse to lose to them 3 on the bounce but at the same time I wouldn't be surprised if they came out like a cup final and we start slow like we have had last couple of games. Id be amazed if we pumped them - just no sign of that happening based on the last 3 games. Hopefully no injuries, we don't get beat, and we can move on to the cup final in a good place.

That is why I wrote 'really important'

Every game is important to us and we want our team to win every match, as I will tomorrow. There is 3 points at stake and as you wrote, professional pride.

I am prioritising the cup final over a league match where 3 points will not matter as the title is won.

If the huns win the match, they can have their 48 hour media frenzy. We have a cup final to prepare for.

By the logic in the first sentence , no games have higher importance than any other , which is untrue. The cup final is of far greater significance.

Get the first goal and silence the zombie *. C'mon Celtic!!!

Been a cracking weekend so far, my daughters Birthday party was brilliant, my hometown club Doncaster winning League 2, but winning at ibrokes would be the absolute cherry on top!!!

Spot on . It's the reason our trophy cabinet is close to collapsing under BR, he knows where the priorities lie and how to get over the line in competitions. AJ missing this to the ensure he's ready for the cup final.

Exactly.... this game is first. It's our rivals. We've been poor in the last 3 games against them. You wanna play that cup final. You have to earn it! You do that by playing every game as its a cup final, like your spot on the team is up for grabs.

The cup final will sort itself out when it's here.

Tomorrow is part of that preparation. You have to earn your spot for the final.

Plenty of players dont need to earn their place for the cup final tomorrow. Maeda could have an off day tomorrow and still play the cup final. McGregor aswell. No matter which way you try and spin it , the cup final is a far more important game. Which is why Brendan has treated AJ's injury in a way that rules him out of this one but has him fit for the cup final. Games have differing levels of significance. Your argument that every single game is of equal importance is ridiculous.

I'm looking forward to this. I'd be happy with a 1-0 win but would like something memorable.

Games do have differing levels of significance. Absolutely. Your examples of Maeda and Calmac starting are correct as well. Also, your example of AJ treatment (taking painkilling injections being another argument) again correct. But that's 3 weeks away. We have 4 league games 1st.

If you wish to place a game against Rangers as lower significance, then fair play to you. I don't. And I certainly dont when we've been substandard against them in the past 3 games. The standard we played those last 3 games against them, would see us lose that very significant cup final.

And by your logic, if tomorrow is of lesser significance, then Brendan should be making other changes also. Fringe players in. Youth a chance. But he won't. Cause he's sees the significance of the fixture and the importance of keeping the form up to the final.

I'm unwilling to accept this is a dead rubber.

    Think this'll be it.

An early goal would be brilliant. We've started poorly last few games, that's set the tone and we've been chasing them.

Get the mutants on their backs early as well.
