Yep, the internationals may take their toll on our squad for the Ibrox game.

Secondly Red Star Belgrade are no mug team so do not expect the huns to be lame ducks at home. That was a great result over 2 legs. They will be fresh to play us. We may not have everyone available for the team selection.

    Best team.

    Whilst I generally agree. I'd take a draw :giggle1:

A draw effectively takes it out of their hands, unless they somehow claw back that goal difference

They will see this as their last real chance to claw back the deficit.

A draw would be a good result, but a win for us would be goodnight and goodbye to their title hopes.

I expect them to come roaring out of the traps and they'll look for that early goal in the first 10-20 minutes, similar to ourselves in the last game. Defence need to be on their game, as they generally have been this season domestically.

Avoid giving away silly fouls and set pieces in dangerous areas, as they know it's our one big weakness and will absolutely flood the box every time.

As others have touched upon, the fact that all the pressure is on them to attack us and bring the game to us means they will inevitably leave space at the back that can be exploited by our excellent forward players.

Weather the early storm, settle into the game and hit on the counter where possible. I do expect them to have more chances and possession than us at home, but we can absolutely hurt them on the counter attack.

They have proven in Europe they can take teams on at home that can attack, much like us. They will come out flying, we don't want to be hit early. A win with them shifts the momentum back to us to win at parkhead.

We should never play for a draw, it's impossible In a derby, but any draw out of this takes the wind out their sails. Again...Dundee surprise them and the whole outlook changes

Would absolutely take a draw, but I also said the same in the last game at Celtic Park.

They will feel they have to win and if they don't score early I can see their fans turning even more toxic than normal.

    Hart
    Juranovic Carter-Vickers Starfelt Taylor
    McGregor
    Hatate O'Riley
    Jota Giakoumakis Maeda

I'd go with our 3 most mobile options in the middle here.

Swarm them from the first whistle and make sure there's plenty balls going in to the 18 yard box for Giak to attack. Bully them like he did in the 3-0 game.

The pressure is all on them. It's pretty much win or bust for them.

Whatever happens in this we will be top of the League after the game with 4 homes and 2 aways remaining.

Lol. About half of those are either current or recent internationals.

This is some run of form you’re on, Theguru.

I wouldn’t take a draw to be honest. Win and it’s ours. The players and manager must feel that way aswell.

The only one I'm debating is Taylor. He schooled that kid Diallo but they won't be playing him again..

Thing is Juranovic pocketed Kent on the right..

The middle 3 is a cert for me and so is that front 3..

Abada was great in the first game but Maeda pressing and playing off Jackie and Jota floating will be a nightmare for them..

Cannot wait for it. Pressure massively on them..

The huns should be terrified for this match.

Aye, chances are they will go Aribo on the right. If they do then Taylor's lack of pace shouldn't be as big a deal.

Juranovic had Kent's number and I think naturally footed full backs will help us work overlaps and get balls into the box for Giak.

We will cause them problems, no doubts about it.

I wonder is Ange maybe thinking of going a bit more physical for this and bringing in Bitton and Ralston like he did at Livi. Personally I would go as physical as we can- they are going to be right up for it especially early on. We might need extra physicality in the team. Taylor and Hatate to drop out for Ralston and Bitton maybe? GG up front. Can't come quick enough this one.

Huns need a win. They’ll need to go out full on attack. Their defence has been ropey this season. I think they’ll need a besst master class in order to beat us as we’ll definitely be able to pick holes and create chances

Can't see it. Fancy Ange to stick Juranovic on Kent again and he'll want McGregor in the holding role to move the ball quickly. He'll probably want O'Riley and Hatate to try and cut them open or get the ball wide. We also physically bullied them at Celtic Park so we definitely have that side of the game in us. But Ange has sprung a few line up surprises so he may decide to change something. I get a feeling that front 3 against County was also testing the waters for this game.

They've shown they can handle the pressure when they need a result.

The toughest domestic challenge for Ange to date, by far. The ramifications of the result are massive in context of the entire season. Last game against them was same but was at least at home.

You can’t play for it and we never would, however, being 3 points (4 in reality with the GD) a draw isn’t the end of the world. Lot of people said that about the home game but that wasn’t the case at the time - that was a must win. A win in this game and the wind is well and truly out of their sails.

We have to go for the win, that has to be the mindset going into this game, of course a draw would be an acceptable result if that was to be the outcome, but i'd like to see us go for the jugular. :67:

Ross county,Pumped off us at home and blew a 2 goal lead at home to Motherwell when they needed to win. Not so sure about that, however today they did grind out a result when before they probably would have dropped points. Still think they are a team who crumble under pressure, first goal is massive in 2 weeks time if we get it i fancy us to win.
