Just looking for a bit of advice - my missus’ brother can’t make the game so has offered us his season tickets however one of them is a child season ticket. Would an * get away with using it or how would they know?
Don’t want to chance it if I’m going to end up making an * of myself.

Sometimes there is stewards looking out for this but not always. You not better just getting the child ticket upgraded to an *? -
Wouldn’t risk it, flashes a different colour for a concession, he could get a suspension if caught.

Can you upgrade the ticket for just that one game?
I really didn’t want to risk it in case I got turned away. So I’m glad I’ve asked. -
If the kids ticket is OPT IN then it can be upgraded after 18th March. If it was an OPT OUT then the deadline to upgrade has passed.
You can upgrade any kids ticket twice in a season only so obviously most will use the Huns games to upgrade. Upgrades are always issued with paper tickets and are charged at full * prices.Bobo_ and seamus1967 like this. -
Done this a few times when the young lad hasn't wanted to go and offered it to a mate instead. Never done it at a Rangers game but a couple of European ones with no issues. I just block the stewards view or have a yap with him and let my pal in first, guess it just depends on what turnstile and whether he's a jobsworth or not.
Not sure if you can get in with your season card through another turnstile further away if rejected? If you were caught, I guess they would just say to go round to the ticket office and upgrade it?
As others have suggested though, if you're a worrier then Celtic will allow you to upgrade from child's to * twice a season. -

If an * gets caught using a kids ST then it's an automatic ban for the ST holder. If a ST gets rejected at the turnstile then yes you do need to go to TO but they will ask whoever has the ST for proof of ID before issuing a paper replacement. Sometimes a ST rejected at the correct turnstile will work at another but often not.
It should be this week as Investors and the Affiliation CSC's all got what they asked for extra's wise. I assume it would have been the same for the Association, Irish and Independent CSC's that were asked how many extra's they wanted. How many that leaves I don't know but i'd imagine a fair few have gone already.Bobo_ likes this. -

The websit now states any upgrades can be done from the 18th March. Only 2 allowed per season.
