    Just seen this.

I never even though about Sevco but that is going to solidify their mandate and make the problem a whole lot worse. I have no doubt there will be a huge increase in ST sales and games against them will be sell outs and expensive ones at that.

Maybe if they start challenging at some point but they're * enough that we will still be on top to carry out this poor plan but good enough that they can help retain interest.

They're definitely happy to wait until Rangers comes back and that's been evident since they died. Look at how much money we've received from players and look how much money we've spent? How can you expect to retain a squad capable of doing what the 11/12 one did when you don't come close to replacing them?

People have kept on denying but the board are just taking this as 4/5 easy titles and then once Rangers are back the league will be competitive so the fans will be focused on that and if need be they might be willing to allow a bit more money to spend.

People have been saying this constantly, but some people just don't want to hear it. "we don't need Rangers" maybe so, but the board clearly think we do. I'm not even sure they're that bothered by CL football. They admitted they don't budget for it. If Ronny recovers and wins us the league and the cup (the cups not a necessity) they'll be happy with it and the real judging will begin next season to see how he copes with Rangers return.

If people see that as "blame" then maybe they are to "blame" for whatever people think they should be blamed for. But the reality is they seem relatively content with what's going on and only Aberdeen winning the league will probably change that.

As has been said before. Deila could leave tom but the plethora of problems that have plagued the club would remain. Nothing will alter unless there is a fundamental change at the very top. Manager's salary, club transfer model, player salaries, staff appointments etc etc. All the decisions that are hampering the club are made in the boardroom. I would suggest our sights are moved away from Deila and onto those that appointed him.

    Hugely to blame.

Zero ambition and that was the case long before RD arrived.

Getting rid of Deila would only be a short term fix then, if anything it would allow the board to continue down this road for longer. Let's turn on Lawell & co & leave Deila, a guy that is giving his all a break. He's clearly being hamstrung by a board that wants to to do everything on the cheap & who's only concern is to have an acceptable looking balance sheet come the end of the year.

Thing is, I'd like for there to be changes made at board level but can I really see it happening?

Doubt it. The support won't come together enough and take a stand for it to happen. Especially at a time when "you know who" are coming back up from the dead. Part timers and the oblivious ones will just keep plodding along and fuelling them.

I've seen so many threads like this regarding the board on here in my time on this forum and that's only since January 2012. Nothing changes unless we make it happen. It will need to take a massive effort from us fans in order for them to * wake up or better still, get to *.

Can't see it happening either in all honesty. But If those that are venting their spleen at Deila started aiming their fury at the board instead we would see far more important changes being made to the club. It's suits the board to have Ronny taking the flack for them. They'll just punt him and repeat the same policies they have currently but might get a guy that improves us on the field and covers up the underlying problems for a while longer. Sooner or later they'll rear their head again and it'll be back to square one.

Exactly my thoughts......was trying to say this same thing today in a post and it ended up a rambling mess so I didn't post it..... I was just trying to say what you've said so succinctly. :50:

....but they may just have enough in the near future to win the league with or without the things you highlight......totally agree about the No1 football team though.

The board not been hounded out yet?

Lawell masterplan in full works here... Downsize the club sooo much that Sevco can have a crack at us next season season... At the same time the idiotic turns up in their thousands to see that happen..

The trap has been set...now queue up and walk into it.. Forget this ever happened

They should be sacked along with Deila and Collins.
The board should be sacked for not backing the managers in the transfer windows.
The board should be sacked for not making a public statement demanding Newco never be allowed to play in Scottish football.
Th e board should be sacked for not taking the SFA to court for all the corruption.
If they had done this then other clubs would have followed their lead.
Deila should be sacked because he and Collins are *.

One thing I find very debatable is the idea thaty Deila hasn't been backed in the transfer window. He has signed one player for practically every month he has been here. The money hasn't been unusually small in comparison to recent years either.
