Have you got? Just checked with my tongue and I've got 23, which surprised me quite a bit. How have you lost yours over the years? Knocked out in fights? Destroyed by uncle Charlie and the booze?

Great thread, just sat and counted with my tongue. 20 and a half, the half being a wisdom that never went the distance. A few holes in me. :icon_mrgreen:
    Quite bad for being 28

    27 and a half.

Smashed one tooth to bits on a table a few years back. Went into about 50 tiny fragments. That was sore, it exposed the nerve. So I have 27 and a half teeth and a cap.

Ah they nerve endings are a pain in the *. The biggest flaw in human nature imo, I know they are there to protect us and warn the brain and that but * * you'd think evolution would have sorted that out a bit better. :54:

Yeah I suppose, it would have been a lot less hassle to make sperm thrive at body temperature rather than needlessly have our bollocks flapping around in the wind. Gutted.

Aye you're right, I try to explain the pain to my pals but I can't. I say it's like brain freeze x 10, confined to your tooth. When I had the cap on, they had to file away at it to make it straight.

Filing away at the nerve with no anaesthetic was not fun. I maintain that one of the worst tortures imaginable would be filing all your teeth, makes me cringe.

That's what I had getting the nerve filed down, the pain was awesome I loved it to be honest. They took my wisdom tooth out and found a big purple thing on it, that shouldn't have been there I don't think.
