My uncle took me to my first match as a two-year-old in 1978; my father took me to Celtic Park for the first time in the 80s and we mainly stood in the Celtic End or the H*ns End into the 90s.
I had a season ticket for the Lisbon Lions, then the main stand, but I had to give it up due to work.
Over the last few years, I’ve gone to games when I was quick enough to snap up a match-day ticket but have managed to land a season ticket again for 417 after four years on the waiting list.
I was just curious about how far back some of our members go as season ticket holders.
I imagine some fans have had tickets for the main stand going back long before Fergus.

Current ticket I’ve had since Ronnie’s second season however long ago that was. Memory is shockin and can’t be arsed checking.

I've been on the waiting list for like 3 year. Not in a position to take it anyway, dad is in poor health so I always go down and stick the games on for him.

1997 I think or 1998 consecutively until now although I moved seat I think around 2007, I remember Nakamuras freekick V MAn U from my old seat but his long range goal against the huns from my "new" seat so moved seat somwehere between them.

Never had a season ticket. I was brought up down south, didn't like the idea of getting a season ticket & it being empty.
A big part of me wishes I had, but for some weird reason I thought you'd still be able to turn up & pay on the Turnstile.
If I'd had any common sense I'd have realised we'd gone all seated & the capacity goes down.
Still to this day though, I've never ever gone to see a match & not got a into a game, or ever payed more than the face value of the ticket (there's a few times I've been a ticket by a stranger outside the ground for nothing).

Worst thing I could have done. Wish I'd have kept it and even if I didn't get to every game, shared it with friends and family. Probably be hard pushed to get one now.

I got a season ticket in 1997. Had to give it up in 2016 (yup season before Rodgers came in). Couldn't keep it up, was buying a gaff and worked most Saturdays

For those who got their season tickets around 97/98 was it not really difficult getting one as we got closer to stopping the 10?
Hampden season we only had about 8,000 season ticket holders then it skyrocketed -

You’ll find it difficult mate your best bet may be purchasing from a mate per season if he can’t make games due to work pattern etc few boys I work with sell to friends as they don’t want to give the book up.PaddyJamieson likes this. -

I've had mines since then but I was too young to know, although my client reference number is in the 33,000s and my uncle who i've had my season ticket with since the start is in 27,000s, im pretty sure we had them since about 1997 as I remember us sitting in those seats when the stand behind the opposite goal wasn't build yet and was only the wee metal frame stand thing.
I always wondered if the client references started at like 000001 and went up and ours are lower numbers since we had them from then or if they were always random if people also have had season tickets since then.
My dads season ticket is like 390,000 and theres probably not been that many different season ticket holders though so I think the numbers are random.
Be interesting if someone had one since 1996 and their client reference is like 008567 but then if someone had one from then and it's like 122668 then they were always just random.seamus1967 and Paul Kennedy like this. -
They had just built the South West corner and it opened for half season ticket midway through the season 97/98, my mum and dad got us them for Christmas.
