Aye, Im about to. Before I do I'll pose one question - whats the point in any of it if it isnae to bring pride, joy and satisfaction to Celtic supporters? to the extent its about ANYTHING other than that it becomes meaningless. The mood round the place is JUST as important as trophies and the balance sheet, if not more. If the supporters don't respond to Strachan then they just dont; the reasons are as irrelevant after three 1/2 years as the reasons would be for not winning trophies. An empty trophy cabinet is an empty trophy cabinet and a half empty subdued stadium is a half empty subdued stadium. Failure is failure.

Night. Im away to dream of a post-Strachan age where a full Celtic park once again reverberates with the sound of happy tims.:bbpd::50:

Disagree. Ive never met a Celtic fan who has any real affection for him. Maybe they don't want him sacked, and frankly neither do I, since he's done nothing but a competent job, but I think allot of people are looking forward to a change.

We're coming from different places here, mate. And at the end of the day a * circus chimp could have managed Celtic to the league the last three years so setting up the dichotomy of success/entertainment is total bullshit.

Go to bed, your getting more ridiculous as your argument falls flat on its face.

So a circus chimp could have managed us to the last 16 UCL twice in a row too?

This thread has become as droll and pointless as any other Strachan thread.

Lets agree on something, the guys past and media savvy is haunting, and potentially ruining, his tenure at Celtic Park.

The man is Marmite, you either love him or you hate him, and no matter how much you take of him, you are never going to love him, if you already hate him.

Personally, anyone who brings success to the club, secures the clubs future, and gives us a European reputation, well, I am going to love him. For others, that isnt good enough !!!!
