i think it is very important. After two years without the title, we cannot afford to have another. We need to win the league next year. IMO

being realistic

regardless of who we sign , and whatever rubbish we can shift , its going to be a hard road qualifying for champions lge , i personally would rather we had decent run in europa lge , against teams at our own level , weve had some great champions lge nights before but far to many * ones when we were out of depth , even with better squads than one we have now we have to be realistic this season if lenny can add someone solid st ledger , campbell etc:celt_2: to a hopefully fit ronge and sorted obvisoully left back etc id b more than content with winning title , and slowly gaining some respect back in europe

The league is priority, a decent run in the europa (should advance from the group stage) then see what happens after that!

With the seeding for the champions league changed it is going to be very very hard for us to get into the champions league so europa will be our european adventure and it has some very very good sides in it!

SPL first priority, any success in europe would be a bonus, and will depend on who lenny brings in, the CL looks a long shot but you just never know........:shamrock:

Anything more than last season will do for me i.e. not getting humped out of CL & then shat all over in EL & not being * in every other competition & finishing will loads of loanees & no trophies.

Want to see SPL come home and maybe a cup. A good run in the europa league would do nicely from the finishing 3rd in the champions league group, that would be nice. This may sound optimistic but i think we could win europa league. Hamburg got to semis and we were unlucky against them at CP and at there place so we aint far away

i would rather get humped 5-0 of bratislava again as long as we win the league.

Top Priorities:

1. Spl Championship
2. Get into the playoffs for the champions league.
3. See how well we do in europe

its the SPL every time for me, anything in europe is a bouns and should be treated as such, dont know why so many get hung up on the CL, win the league first, then what happens, happens

I'm not remotely bothered about the Champions League next season. If we get through to the groups then great, it will bring us extra revenue, but if we don't we don't.

Priority #1 is to win the SPL, we must do that.

If there is to be any European adventure then I hope it comes in the Europa League. I would absolutely adore it if we could get to the final and all go to Dublin and enjoy the biggest Celtic Party ever seen. :celt_2:

agree with pelebhoy about ifs and buts regards not taking advantage of our domination under strachan , it was huge mistake , next season is biggest season in long time , celtic fc {board} need to back lennon not with crazy money but with enough to get in some quality performers , if we fail and crowds fall to what they were last season ,we are for want of a better word * , celtic park was alonely place last year , even with the boards to little to late signing of keano , so heres hoping they get it right and that includes lennon , signings have got to add something extra not numbers , and thats what * signings like murphy would b , standard needs to be set , fans need to be treated with respect , board must no that now

Ticket sales are already down. Dread to think how badly it will be if we lose the league next year.

I mean, with the loyal fan we have supporting the club.

It won't just be us losing out on the one CL place, it will be our big boys looking for a way out in the way that Murray has been doing.

So yes, I think this year is important.
