Hard to say before the draw has been made but hopefuly we get get to the last 8 this season. We need to keep improving.
-
The Final.
-
depends on who we get drawn against, but if the draw is good to us then i beleive last 8
-
Unless we sign a few quality players I dont expect us to progress again. We were exceedingly lucky last year, considering that just about every goal we scored was a deflection/defensive error and we got every rub of the green we could reasonably expect. Wont happen twice in a row, we need to improve.
-
a beleive if we can get to the last 8 then we will be so determined to go all the way.
-
no way of saying at the moment

I don't want to sound like a pessimist but i think getting to the last 16 is overachieving if you look at the clubs we have been coming in front of and how much money they have had to spend.
My odds, based on how i'm feeling now and not having seen the draw are:
4th in group - 20%
3rd in group - 40%
Qtr finals - 30%
Better - 10%
But as long as we don't come last in the group i'm happy, because if we don't come last we have European football after Xmas and I remember the 15 or so years that we didn't get that. -
All the way :icon_mrgreen: nah i would be happy with the last 8.

I hate these threads, I dont have a magic ball like Mystic Meg so I cant say it all depends on the draw when the draw comes out for the group I'll give my view when the draw comes out for the last 16 again i'll tell you my thoughts.

is that not quite a harsh thing to have in your signature (not the pope bit) -
of course id like to say we'd win it but i took my tablets the day so im being realistic... IF we are as lucky as last year as was rightly pointed out above, lst 8 is our limit. We need a massive boost of cash and 4/5 mega siginings IMO before we can realisticly look beyond that.
However, what i'm not scared of saying is that i would be extremely happy to finish third... i do beleive we have evry chance of the world of taking the UEFA cup to Paradise... Mabey then the mega-sigings will follow? -

I've got a feeling we'll do better away from home in the group stage this year (it wouldn't be difficult) and slip up at home in some way. I'd hope to get through although having not looked at the seedings yet we could get a tough 2nd seed and then we'd stuggle to get to the last 16.
-
All depends on who we get in draw, but it wont be easy i fear!
-
It's all about improving so hopefully last 8. Any further would obviously be a huge bonus
