Hasn't really bought the same level of deadwood Mowbray and Strachan were guilty of, even MON was guilty of it on occasion - spent wisely and not just for the sake of it.

Not so sure. For his first season he has had his fair share - Cha, Juarez, Murphy and Freddie were a real waste. Overall what good he has done is far more important than that but you have to be fair and compare like with like i.e. first season. Lenny has splashed out on some failures too.

If you compare first seasons, most of WGS signings did a job and most importantly we won the title. He brought into the first 11 Artur, Telfer, Naka and Zurawski who all did great jobs and promoted Maloney and Mick. That transformed the team. The only guys who cost money but didnt do any sort of job that WGS signed in his first season were Camara and Virgo if I remember correctly.

Mogga's first and only season IMO was the most disasterous first season I can remember any Celtic manager having in terms of transfers. His season saw us lose players like Robson, Artur, Naka, Mick, Caldwell, Naylor, Skippy etc who may not have been amazing but they were proven winners, replaced them mainly with loans who were away at the end of the season. He left a team stripped of its experienced spine.

yeah i know what you mean, Strachan did a good job his first year, it was afterwards he was guilty of it. To be fair, Freddie was signed before Commons became available so was rendered useless, Cha was solid until he went away and Wilson was excellent in his absence and there has clearly been some sort of fallout with Juarez cos he certainly looked a decent player. I'll not argue with you on Murphy though:50:

Over all lennon has done well 7 out of 10 i think

    Forster 7 Can’t fault him
Cha 4 Kept out of the team
Izz 8 had two bad games and it showed, we got beat in both (hearts and Cally)
Mulgrew 7 Started poor and came good
Maj 8 Solid, missed him in the league cup final
Kayal 9 Best creative player we have
Ledley 5 Still to prove himself imo
Juarez 7 Thought he was brilliant , then got dropped, not sure why
Commons 9 Hit the ground running
    Hooper 9 A goal machine
Stokes 5 Headless chicken, can come good if he settles down
Murphy 4 the goal against UTD in injury time shows he can play, needs to proves he’s consistent.
Freddie would not be faire to rate tbo

generally pretty good though obviously juarez and murphy have been shall we say 'dissapointing' to say the least

forster; decent stop gap for this season
cha: not too impressive imo but a bosman so sell on value
izzy: what hasnt been said already? a larsson-esque signing
mulgrew: dodgy start but has proven his versatility, decent player for a bosman
maj: generally pretty solid, big character as well
kayal: awesome player, can only get better
ledley: unsung hero, much like lennon was in his time as a player, excellent deal for an excellent player
juarez: *, would punt him pronto
commons: an absolute steal at 300k; hunskelper in the making!
hooper: good first year though did fade away in last couple games, no thanks to bougherra's assault
stokes: good player but frustratingly inconsistent; dodgy discipline as well
murphy: poor though arguably not given much of a chance? would punt him if anyone wants him otherwise he'll still be next year methinks

Freddie though does not look like he can cut it at this level any more. He was once a * of a player but now looks physically fragile compared to the dynamic player he was.

Juarez doesnt have a problem with work ethic or professionalism, he had trouble addapting to life in scotland which is what Crosas and ki said in twitter and on interviews and they said they were helping him and he loved celtic. Give the lad a chance before you punt him, Murphy is just * no matter how hard he tries, he is *

His signings have been mostly good. Kayal, Hooper, Izaguirre, Stokes, Ledley, Mulgrew, Commons, Majstorovic, Forster, Cha have all done a good job this season. Ljungberg and Kapo didn't work out but at lest we made the smart choice and only gave them short term deals. Murphy isn't good enough as a 1st choice but he's a decent back up and I'm hoping Juarez can still make it.

I think in the case of Juarez it's not so much about his lack of footballing ability more a question about his attitude and off-field activities.
