I'm with you on most of that gunt but I would switch Cha's and Maj's ratings or at least move Cha up a notch.

From what I remember about Kapo, he only played about 40 mins or that for us, then he had to go off injured, I'm sure thats all we saw of him, by the way, of the little I did see him though, he looked pretty good, skillful, and quite fast too. Dunno, what the script was there.

I think Stokes limitations (cant play up on his own) and the lack of faith the manager has in him in harder games would have to relegate him to the good section. He isnt in the same class of singing as Kayal, Izz, Commons and Hooper. I also dont think ledley is quite in that bracket either. He is an important cog in our best MF four but individually he is not up there with the top 4.

Without rating them individually I think he will get back more than he paid for them because the really good ones will go eventually and they will demand much higher fees which will more than compensate for the likes of Murphy etc.
More importantly think they will win us the league next year with a few more decent signings.

  10. Juarez hasnt been good enough but we can gain back what we paid for him
Daryl Murphy well we all knew he was * when we got him
Ljungberg has been the biggest waste of time ever
Kapo well one game was all he was worth

All the rest have been cracking signings though Lenny for his first season in charge has done great in the transfer window and brought us in great players for the future long may it continue....:huddle::huddle::huddle::huddle:YNWA Lenny

Those in bold have pass marks, the others haven't had enough game time to showcase their qualities so it's unfair to pass judgement - Murphy included.

Never heard of a volunteer pro footballer. Can't believe that Kapo played for free.

Can't believe people rate Stokes as much as Hooper.

Just reading through the thread and Lenny had definitely had more success than failure. Most of the ratings are predictable.

I don't think he could have foreseen how much Juarez would fail to settle, he's undoubtedly a quality player but it's not happened for whatever reasons. When you look at the amount players he had to bring in, there was always going to be couple who fell short.

I feel Stokes doesn't get the recognition he deserves he only got one start against the huns playing on the wing. So it's unfair to say he's only effective against weaker SPL sides when the Stokes/Hooper partnership wasn't used against them. They should have played in the last Old Firm game together their movement and understanding would have killed them and won us the league. Hooper has a lot to thank Stokes for in having such a great impact.

Lenny has proved he's able to discover real talent and now he needs to add experience and quality to the spine of our team with a GK,CB and ST and cover at LB needed. He needs to trim the deadwood and has the unenviable task of keeping modern day footballers happy especially in our SPL, Lenny has his work cut out and needs to get it right. In some ways this close season more important for him than last as he MUST get it right.

    In Lenny we trust.:shamrock:
