    Canned phrases at the ready

We aim to come out of every transfer window stronger than we went in
We could spend x amount on a player but a player costing x amount will require x in wages
Everybody is after that same type of player it's very difficult to get business done
Player x is back to full fitness while player y has signed a new deal equals new signings
Deadline day loan player is real quality and we are lucky to have him

It makes so much sense to get signings in the door as early as possible. :31:

We don't need to use the money from the Turnbull deal to subsidise another. The near £30m from Dembele and Rodgers should be suffice.

Good day for the rumours. £7m fee agreed for Julien, Still talking with Copenhagen about Ankerson, Zanka bid of £3.5m rumoured and Perraud on a free rumoured. If we sell Ntcham for £14m we have essentially purchased a whole new defence with that money.

Two quality RBs, LB another CB.. And I'd be delighted.

If we were to add a ST, DM and another GK before the end of window too, then wow.

With Tierney and Sinclair going I would like another right-back, left-back and centre-back, a centre-mid and a winger.

We need an Elhamed/Lustig type left-back a big * that can header a ball as we are so * at set pieced. We also need a back-up right back.

Centre-back i'd let Jozo go also and get a new guy even a young upcoming player who will take a year or two to get into the team.

Centre-mid we should bring in a defensive midfielder or even Turnbull or both.

With Sinclair going, Shved looks lightweight to me and that he might need a season to settle in and bulk up we need competition for Johnston, especially as Johnston is injured a lot even last season and the season before he seems to be someone who gets injured every few weeks. Cant be risking a lightweight Shved or Mogan playing a lot of games.

We need to plan for Jozo and Ntcham leaving, having guys bedding in means we could let them go in January.

If he plans on using Christie as a 10 then we badly need an athletic box to box midfielder to play alongside McGregor.
