    Anyone know if this is based on the 2 prequels that George R R Martin wrote, or are the writers of this spin off series going off script and doing their own thing, like they did with GoT?

    I think Matt Smith is a decent actor, but the casting of him here seems way off

    I liked the fact GOT was basically a lot of up and coming/unknown actors. Can’t stick that Matt Smiths coupon but he does kinda suit the Targaryen look to be fair.

    Will watch it, but season 8 GOT left such a bad taste in my mouth that I’m almost doing so grudgingly :giggle1:

    You can blame George Martin for that largely as he failed to do what he said he would and finish the books so in fairness the TV series had no choice but to figure it out themselves. I absolutely loved the books and first 5 seasons of the TV show which followed the books closely season by season. The last book Dance With Dragons was released in 2011 10 years ago and still nothing. All credit his work is incredible but come on 10 years and no sign of the last 2 books yet that is incredibly selfish IMHO

    If this turns out to be as much of a cash cow as Game of Thrones was.........and it will.......then dont expect it to end. It'll be like what Disney doing with Star Wars.....absolutely raping the * out of it for every last penny they can get. HBO will do the same.....they'd be daft not to

    Aye that looks pretty decent! GOT is top tier, just hard to get over the last few Episodes. But when were are so tightly gripped to it and there are so many possibilities not everyone will be happy no matter the ending.
