Hahaha thats my plan as well mate, this loan must last for 6 not 3 months doesn't it? So a Guineas winner and a few profitable visits to HQ and Donny/Haydock/Ayr/York/Royal Ascot would be welcome :D

I was in good form for ages with the racing nearly a year, constantly winning and withdrawing money and any time I got near to empty I got a winner again and was back up for ages withdrawing more and never had to deposit anything etc then I won £750 on the Irish lottery on bet365 about 6 weeks ago, withdrew everything I had except £50 and since then i've hardly had a winner lol must have deposited about £150-200 since.

Went to the grand national last week also and didnt get a single winner, terrible stuff.

Are they Sheik Hamdan Al Makatoum horses? For some reason whenever I smash up the bookies with a jockey (Hanagan, Crowley, Buick or probably Robert Tart/George Wood next) they suddenly get signed on by Sheik Hamdan/Godolphin and never * winning for me after that. I prefer the flat racing although I'm a better punter on the jumps - its proper odd how I can pick out a 40/1 winner of the Royal Hunt Cup (40 horse 6f cavalary charge at Royal Ascot) or 2YO races with no form (just pedigree) but cant do most of the rest.

Luckily Uni gives all its students (mature ones anyway) another £1k Bursary in May so hopefully that tides me over. Funnily enough actually wouldn't mind working in a bookies.

Wonder what happened to the horse Mootaharer, mind watching it and it looked superb and added to my attheraces thing so they remind me when its running but its never ran again.

It's last race which was only its 2nd it won by a distance against horses that have gone on to win over 10 races between them since.

So difficult to figure out which horse you mean, as all Hamdan Al Maktoums horses have similar Arabic names. When did it race last?

Mighty Missile 5.50 at Stratford looks not bad to me at 7/1, ran 5 times at stratford over the same distance and time share ratings are always quite good, also carrying 6lbs less than its last run there over that distance which was the best time it done. Also seems to have improved this year from past years.

Struggled and well beaten though still 2nd.

Sorry mate, i presumed (wrongly) you were pronouncing how it sounded but didnt have the correct spelling!

From what i can see online, it had a sinus problem and they are still hopeful it will run again as an older horse, although it has no entries as of now.

None of their names ring a bell to me, will keep an eye on them though.

Rare a favourite wins the Irish National, last one i can think of was the great Desert Orchid in 1990 of an amazing top weight of 12st 0lb

Robbie Power and Jessy Harrington are unstoppable at the moment!
