80p profit. Had about 6 runners in it, and one of my 2 'get your money back' runners won it.

Good race, favourites never in it which is often the case with the Cup.

The reaction of the Heartbreak City owners to coming second was hilarious.

Never seen it. Had to hit the sack 10 minutes after it was over.

Aye, gutting man. Beautiful horse and a real star. Mullins lost 3 over the weekend in different circumstances. Very sad for all connections....not to mention Freddie Tylicki suffering paralysis from that horrific accident.

Many Clouds beats Thistlecrack then snuffed it after the race, quite sad but some way to go out.

Anyone provisionally interested in (I dont graduate until 2 years from now then got my teacher training for a year) potentially owning a racehorse? This is something I've always wanted to do.

I've Looked around at everything ranging from the Rolls Royce, deluxe type options (and also close to me) like training a horse with Mark Johnston (Classic winning trainer, £75 a day, pricey but includes everything) to the more cheap, all weather experts or local track specialists (Chris Grant or Richard Guest, usually £30-£35 per day)

When I'm a teacher, it'd be nice to (I again stress in the mid future) club together a few Celtic fans and call a horse 'The Boys of 67' or something like that racing in Green & White Hoops Silks :D

Keith Dalgleish who is based in Scotland and has won Group races is £42 per day.

You can buy (with a bit of luck) a decent horse for £10-£15k. I remember Imperial Commander who won the 2010 Cheltenham Gold Cup (which I was there to see) cost between five geordie lads, £10k = £2k each.

Has anyone ever owned a horse or been in a syndicate before?
