Im up £78 on the day, which is quite good for my small stakes today. Only made a loss on one race.

I had £1.50 on it too!:smiley-laughing002: Backed 4 at high prices for a fiver total bet.

I do actually really like Matt Chapman. He can be overbearing at times but his enthusiasm wins me over. Hate when he does a Boom when im on another though!

Always liked him because we share the same last name but he really is an awesome jockey what a ride he gave there! Awesome week for him, couple of winners and a new child! Japanese horse really didn't fire there!

    Bet small.....very competitive meeting.
For fun, id go £10 a race max, unless well up early, and id split it between one near top of the betting, and one near the middle.

Id also stick to betting with the main bookies like Ladbrokes etc. They are all over to the left as you look at the track.
Twice in my race going days i have gone to collect and the * has upped sticks and went home early, and i had to send my ticket away to some * organisation. Also, the individual bookies are quite rude at times with small punters, allowing big punters to jump in in front of you. Thats just a personal view though.

How do they know who's a big and wee punter? :56:

Won 4 ton on the last race of the night, stuck 100 quid I'd won from the other races on the winner. Night paid for and more!

Well done.....coming home from the races level, is a result!!

They recognise them, as they are regulars. Also, they lay off their potential losses to each other, so if they take a big bet, (£500) they will send their runner to maybe stick £300 of that on with another bookie.....but at these times they blank the small daytrippers at the front of the queue. No eye contact or anything, just geez yer money!

Never seen any of that, there were far too many bookies for there to be queues last night.. Walked up every time and got my slip right away.

Really enjoyed it, I'll definitely be going back.

Go on Go on Go on, Doncaster 3pm Wednesday.

Won a few group 3s with ease recently. Sure this is a group 1 race but it should still run well. Good price at 7s too.
