Snodgrass, because he is Celtic fan, but Hooper after year would want to leave again.

I'd also take Russell Martin, Nathan Redmond, Leroy Fer....infact, why don't we just buy Norwich?

I wouldnt take any them, Lustig is better than Martin, Forrest is better than Redmond and Biton, Brown and Johansen are better than Fer.

I actually prefer Tettey to Fer, Tettey anchors midfield quite well when I see him playing. Fer is such a clumsy player, rash, takes bad touches etc reminds me of Mo Edu.

Only Norwich players id take are Hooper and Snodgrass and if we didn't have Stokes or Griffiths then Van Wolfswinkel or if Izzy left then Olsson.

People get all offended when players leaves Celtic to go and play for clubs that are perceived to be smaller than we are. The truth is Gary Hooper didn't leave Celtic for Norwich, he left Celtic to have the opportunity to play at the highest level of English football. Given that the guy is English himself, it's more than likely been an ambition of his since he was a little boy to play in the English Premier League. I don't blame him at all for wanting to go and do it, even though I was disappointed to see him leave us. His departure from Celtic wasn't any indictment on us as a club, it was more of an indictment on the state of the game up here. Hooper never outgrew Celtic, he outgrew Scottish Football.

I would 100% have him back, as long as his attitude was right.

I did say that I wouldn't object to Hooper coming back. I applaud players for trying to play at better level, but I do think Hooper was badly advised in his move to Norwich. He was desperate to be on the plane to Brazil and it hasn't worked out. I don't think he would have been anyway, even if he had scored double figures at Norwich or for us in the Champions League.

Russel Martin for centre half. Leroy Fer for Europe because we still need a big beast of a player. Redmond is a good wee player and we need a conventional winger that doesn't get blow over by the wind. Van Wolf because we are still in desperate need of someone in the mould of JVOH

We need a goal scorer, so I would say Hooper. But knowing Norwich will not let him go on the cheap and his wages we would have more chance in getting Snoddy.

Snodgrass. A player who'll play for the shirt.

    I know, I wasn't having a go at you.

Hooper could have scored 50 goals up here for us this season and it wouldn't have got him on the plane to Brazil. 10-15 goals in the EPL would have given him a better chance of making England's World Cup squad. Sad but true. Hooper obviously figured that was a risk worth taking, add that to the fact playing in England's top league was obviously an ambition for him, and it's not difficult to see why Hooper decided it was time to move on.

Anyone who thinks we're going to sign Van Wolfswinkel, one season after he moved to Norwich for £12.5m, is living in cloud cuckoo land.

It was a move that he felt he had to take, I get that and I understand why. Brazil was his ultimate goal. The problem for him now is how high is his stock? Obviously we rate him, but does the EPL? He scored 8 goals in 33 matches, which considering how Norwich played, is a good return. But are lower EPL teams going to bid for him, when they can buy glamourous' players from Seire A, La Liga or the Bundesliga?

I think Brazil was more like the cherry on the cake, the opportunity to play in the English Premier League was the cake. That was the real attraction for Hooper.

If Norwich go down I'm not sure where that leaves Hooper. He may decide to stick it out at Norwich, he knows he can score goals in the Championship and Norwich will probably be amongst the favourites for promotion next season. If Celtic offered him the chance to come back, would he come? Who knows.

All I'm saying is I find it a wee bit daft when I see our fans basically saying '* him, he did the dirty on us by leaving so let him rot at Norwich'. It's a bit of a childish attitude.

Hooper was a really good player for us and he would probably be a good player again if he came back. For me it would all hinge on his attitude towards coming back to Celtic. If he was coming back here for an easy life then I wouldn't want him back. If he was coming back here satisfied that he gave it a go down the road and determined to write his name into Celtic folklore then I would welcome him back with open arms.
