I think theres a possibility one of these guys could force their way back into the first team squad, preferably Hooiveld. But if you look at Loovens when Lenny took over he was basically in the same position, but do to injuries and solid performances Loovens worked his way up to first choice centre back at the end of the season.
What makes me think this is neither of these lads have been moved to another club and we really havent brought in a CB, so what do yall think?

They both play left centre back. That's also Wilson's preferred position and he looks an excellent player so no, I can't see them getting a look-in barring injuries.
-
Neither are in the plans, or will be. Both out on loan last year, nothing has changed.
They will be sold at the first opportunity. -

No chance.
Are not good enough. -
Can't see how either will get another chance tbh. I'd imagine Wilson, Maj, Mulgrew and Rogne will definitely be ahead of them, probably Wanyama too. Which means the only way their going to get a game is if four of those are out, which is unlikely. Even then I'd much rather see Toshney get a chance.
Still holding out hope that we'll get rid of Loovens, O'Dea and Hooiveld before the window shuts because they've had more than enough chances over the years. -

Can't see either of them breaking into the team anytime soon
-
i seriously hope that they leave this transfer window, but who is gonna want them?
-
Just can't see it, quite disappointed about Hooiveld i thought he would of been a good player for us.

Both players plus Loovens are not good enough to wear the Celtic jersey.

I agree with the general consensus here. All three of them have proven that although on occasion, they can produce the goods, they are not consistent enough in their abilities to play in the Celtic first team regularly.
Lenny would be doing everyone a favour by getting rid of Hooiveld, O'Dea and Loovens before the end of the window, although it seems unlikely all three of them will go, if any. -
I want a reason WHY Hooiveld isn't getting a look-in?
He came with a decent reputation and has never been given a run out. Really * me off how we treat some players. -

Looking at it objectively, O'Dea and Loovens arent good enough. Hooiveld might be but the fekker is always injured. Played something like 8 games and dont think he has finished one. Might be better to move him on, spesh now as we have a lot of competition in the centre of defence.
-
Both are * and not good enough - cant even get games when out on loan
-
I know he's right footed but left centre back is his preferred position. -
K. Wilson>Maj>Mulgrew>Rogne>O'Dea>Loovens>Toshney>Hooiveld>Thompson
9 cb's. Get rid of Looven, Hooiveld and Thompson and send Toshney out on loan.
But I think Loovens will stay and O'Dea will go instead. -
