I don't think anyone is 100% sure, I think he wanted to stay away from the site for good for one reason or another so thought faking his death would be a good idea.

The Marty thing is definitely the weirdest thing to have happened on here in my 18 months as a member. What the * was he thinking? :97:

Please don't turn this into a Marty discussion thread, we'd rather forget about him. If it does turn into a Marty discussion thread, the thread will be closed. :50:

Like practically everything about it. Love being on it.

One thing though. I'm not arguing for the change of the rules or anything- it's not a massive problem but i don't understand why some threads are closed as quickly. I understand the reasons for closing duplicates and match threads. Though for example, i dont understand why say, the Sol Campbell threads were closed when he joined Newcastle. I would agree if they were closed, as long as people got a good chance to react to it. Because no doubt, if another thread was started saying how he hasnt signed for us, itd be closed.

But i have to say i love being able to talk to celtic fans as i dont always get the chance to do so. Also find that people are genuine and willing to consider other things outwith celtic (other peoples teams and other games) as well as things outwith football. I have been on forums before but this is by far the best.

You meet new celtic supporters on this site and its great, the laughs on this site is brilliant :50:

Other other side of site is there is to many closed threads, cant explain your opinions, mods that close the threads when 'IRA' is classed as sectarian I will never know.

When we loss a game its very heated and causes upset in the forum.

I think this site is better because you have a few lads from the North East on!!! :icon_mrgreen:

It is the best football forum in the world!

As long as you dont be a * you will have a superb time on here :icon_mrgreen:

I go on this almost every day and try to have a bit of banter with the members, Im a sensible poster and thats why I havent had any trouble with the mods (YET....) :56:

I love nothing more than moaning at Samaras when we get beat and gernerally moaning about Celtic.

It has very unique people on it from all over the world, If I am being completely honest I can only think of 1 thing that I would mention

The threads getting closed so quickly, I completely understand why some threads are, for example if we were to sign Bellamy and there was already a huge thread on it and someone created another one, I understand that would obviously need to be closed but for example the other day I spent alot of time making a thread think It was called the 'consequences of Mulgrew' and it was well thought out and took about 20 minutes to write out, only for it to be closed because there was already a different thread about him, I found this odd because the thread reffered to me was 'why has Mulgrew being signed' which imo is different altogether to the consequences. I know that the staff can't allow to have similar threads all over the place as it would get silly but maybe it just a little more time was spent to decide whether this is already a thread or if it is something different.

This isn't a huge criticism because I do understand the logic behind it but that is the only thing I would say really.

I have been helped with some private problems on here which has helped me immensely

Other than that it is a very good forum and I will continue to use it for many years to come :50:

It's a great forum. I like the fact that it's anti-discrimination, even if it's the huns. The mods are top quality (Markybhoy99 and Airdrie-Onion etc), good banter, but as has been said sometimes I feel threads are closed to quickly. I understand though that you are just doing your jobs.

That's because every, and I mean every thread of that type, has to be ruined by keyboard republicans. Somewhere between Post #5 and #10 you'll see "* THE BRITS, UP THE RA HRRRR". Some people are being too uneducated/childish/ignorant or simply lack mental capacity to express their views like... well, grown-ups.

    Constructive criticism is always welcome.:50:

    TC is a cracking forum!

Most of the time you can have good conversations. Always good for a laugh(plus there are alot of people on here who have the same childish sense of humour as i do!)

All in i think the mods do a good job in keeping it running smoothly, and i can see why threads are locked as quickly as they are(dupluicates or just plain stupid.....pssssssttt.......dont tell them...but i think the couple of warnings i had from them were reasonable:bbpd:

I enjoy the lively banter but get really * off about all things Irish being fantastic and the idiots who seem to love all things to do with the IRA etc . I am a proud Scottish celtic supporter .

Good forum for news. Hate the fact i've got so many posts because its a sad day when you have thousands of posts on a forum :56: But when i'm at uni I have alot of free time during the day so it kills time.
