Honest Mistakes Thread 2016/17 onwards.

It’s dirty but clever tactics. Refs will all be terrified about upsetting them now after Clancy. Even though Clancy was * for both teams that night. No chance they concede a pen or red card for next while, maybe even the rest of the season.

 

We need to start being clever and play the feckers at their own game but, if there's one thing most of us will agree on, and that is our board are not clever when it comes to actual footballing matters

 

Need to attract the best, figures aren't really the point needs to be competitive tho.. With SPL clubs paying for day 10 elite refs.. If they are poor drop down to the Championship and lose elite status etc..

 

Annoying that it’s takes all the scums antics to get us to call out refs on our own platforms, but a start.

Constantly let them push our defenders in the back as well, every cross or long ball the played they were shoving and barging our defenders about without a foul the whole game. Even the Bitton penalty, if that was the huns he'd have gave them a foul for a push in the back.

Jota gets fouled first half, we get the free kick, but end up with two yellows and they get one. Halkett should have been booked for his first tackle on Giakoumakis, and then second half he deliberately runs his studs down the achilles of Giakoumakis. He did get booked for that, but that should have been his second yellow. The Haring tackle second half he let go as well, and it was a shocker.

 

If Bitton did a foul like Haring that late he'd have gave him his 2nd yellow, it was well late and quite bad. Couldn't do that to Hearts though and kill off the chance of them equalising.

The Jota one. That wee rat Devlin deliberately had his Jota's leg scissored in between his tight so he couldn't move. Sleekit as *. All Jota did was push his leg off as if he bent that he could've hurt Jota a fair bit..

Rat * man. How he gets out game's still is beyond me..

Remember him at Tynecastle a long time ago when he gave them that penalty when Jamie Walker took one of the worst dives I've seen under no contact, no even close..

Could’ve gave bitton a second yellow for handball but didn’t
Really don’t know why tbh as like yourself I think he jumps at the chance to do anything that hinders is

 

You never see that though, people never get booked for handball now unless they really slap or punch a ball deliberatley to stop an attack or time waste. If he sent Bitton off for that there would have been meltdown.

 

Was it no Beaton at Tynecastle this season that denied the diets a stonewall penalty when Goldson handled it at 2-1?

I only saw it the once but I thought it could have been deliberate. If so, he was lucky not to get his 2nd yellow.

 

That wee Devlin * shoud have been booked way before he got a yellow, for persistant fouling if nothing else. He must have gave away 5 or 6 in the first half hour.

Bitton waa lucky as well but should have been 11 v 10 at that stage and Harring(?) shoudl have been off as well. Not sure if that was before or after the Bitton hand ball.
