Anyone recommend me some mixtapes, downloaded Game's mixtape (cheers for the link smithy ) on datpiff and it's the first time Ive been on that site and it looks quality.

I'm a complete novice to mixtapes btw usually just albums I listen to so tell me the most obvious and best ones. Heard good things about lil wayne's mixtapes apparently they're usually better than his CD's, although not a big fan of his music in general.

I'll check back in the morning, thanks in advance :50:

    Ghetto - Ghetto Gospel
Big KRIT - Return of 4Eva
    Elzhi - Elmatic

it sound more like a lot of * happened before that and its prompted havoc to take to his twitter account probably drunk and talking *. new media is going to play a huge part in hip-hop its taking away the grandeur of major record labels because now artists can build an independent fan base with it just look at mac miller he will never be a hip-hop legend but at least you no he is free to write and release what he wants where as there is someone like lupe who had his hands tied on lasers through the interference of his label

Whatever the situation is, Mobb Deep "beefing" on twitter is not a good look, considering their background and the fact the "Twitter Beef" is laughed at by their generation

I dont have a problem with rappers on twitter, its a great promotional tool and i enjoy reading certain artists tweets.
I know they're not the first, Royce da 59 went back and forth with a fake canibus account for weeks, Action Bronson and Diabolic had an exchange, Joe Buddens been in few. These days rappers air their problems out twitter before they would on tracks, which is * tbh

I a would agree with you to and extent but when its ones like joe budden where he is just arguing with his girlfriend a think that * can stay on twitter instead of on a track

tbh we dont really need to hear about it on either but the song he made was decent. It wouldnt be classed as a rap beef anyway
