HINKEL?

A big problem with our right back position is that whoever plays there is going to be left more exposed than thier counterpart on the left as Naka's tracking back isn't the greatest, whereas on the other side wee McGeady is up and down the pitch all match providing assistance to Naylor. Which gives Naylor the option of a shorter pass most of the time if he in possession, the right back doesn't always have that option and has to play it longer or square it to a CB.

Think Hinkel done allright though and we need to remember it's still very early in his celtic career.

 

he done well against the dons starting of slowly and then got a little better as time when on and made some good tackles to end their attacks.

by far not his best game but he will only get better if he stays clear of injury.

still only 25 so a decent age for a defender to be at

He had a couple of hairy moments and was beaten to the ball too easily for an early dons chance, but generally he was OK.

Still early days, he'll come good

 

btw, on hinkel. he was the worst player on the park.couldn't defend to save himself. perhalps because he was unfit, but regardless we won 5-1 which is great.
