We must win this, a title winning team doesn’t drop 4 points in 2 games.

This feels massive. Sadly won’t be at it but hoping the away end will be in fine voice and push the players to victory.

Players need to set the tone though, first 10 minutes is crucial and get a sense that we need to take the first chance that comes our way.

Saturday would have been a different game and outcome if Palma took one of his chances early on. Players confidence shattered with some of the chances we miss.

Need to be far more clinical tonight.

The difference in hibs tonight compared to when they played huns and St mirren will be ridiculous! Boyle back will terrorise our slow and ponderous back line. Youan will have the measure of them. Don't see any positives to come tonight. Rodgers never won there and won't tonight the officials will also make sure of it. When we had the run of games at home we had to keep that 8 point lead going into the games after the split. Thank * wee man is training during it tonight first half if it's anything like our games this season bar 1 or 2 should be a hoot.

After the recent run of results

WWWWW and that 1 draw people have lost it. Why would we suddenly go on a loosing run? Fannies. A draw where we hit the bar 4 times and missed an open goal. Can see us really switch it on tonight. Blow them away and go on a run. They'll drop points, could see how lucky they got last night.bcouple that with Europe and the drops will come. If not we'll * smash them twice anyway. That's what we do. Champions come may.

    Hart
    Johnston - Nawrocki - Scales
    McGregor - Bernardo
    Kühn - O'Riley - Maeda
    Kyogo - Idah

If Brendan insists on sticking with 433:

    Hart
    Ralson - Johnston - Nawrocki - Scales
    McGregor
    O'Riley - Bernardo
    Kühn - Kyogo - Maeda
I'm done with Bernabei, but i don't like Ralston at LB much more.

We have dropped 8 points in 10 games, 6 of those games at home that's unbelievable from us. Shambolic

As I said dropping 8 points in 10 games is a collapse. You guys are all better than me tbh seeing the season out. Av totally gave up on anything to do with the club its a shambles and the accounts out this week to ram it down our throats the amount of cash they sat on.

@honda Mon mate you know the officials won't let them drop points, it's the perfect storm like covid for them, celtic off the pitch are a shambles. On the pitch there is a massive disconnection and they are being assisted like they where in 2021

    Ffs mate come on :56:

This is exactly the kind of pish all the other clubs fans in the league are * themselves at atm. Aren’t running away with the league mid season? Oh well we will just give up.

Plenty things to be annoyed about obviously but giving up is nuts. Back the team.

Over the last 15 games Hearts have picked up 1 more point than us. After the first round of league fixtures where we were plagued with injuries had most of the tough away fixtures we were on 9 wins and 2 draws only 4 dropped points from 33, that is title winning form. I remember thinking at the time if we can close to replicate that for the second run of fixtures we will likely be safe. But we were 8 wins 2 defeats and 1 draw so only 25/33 points. Since for the third round of fixtures we are 4/6 points.

Whether we win this league will come down to if we can get back towards the 29/33 from this round of fixtures or slip like the second round.

A worry for me is looking at how Clement won his titles in Belgium he actually had a pretty poor record against the main competing teams for the title but his teams were very consistent and ticking off the other games. They have built momentum through that.

It is also holding true here as the differences between the sides runs have been slim. There’s no doubt they have renewed belief but for questionable refereeing decisons and abysmal finishing from opposition/ keeper errors they could be a lot worse off.

-1-0 down to Hearts at Ibrox, 90th minute penalty they win 2-1.
    - 1-0 down at Aberdeen, 90th minute penalty they draw 1-1.
    - 1-0 win at St Johnstone, Penalty denied to St Johnstone.
    - they win 1-0 at Tyncastle vs Hearts, - Cochrane fails to kick the ball into an open goal at 0-0.
    - 1-0 win against St Mirren, they were outplayed and St Mirren hit the bar at the end.
    - 2-1 win against Aberdeen whose keeper has given them the ball twice for both goals.

So that’s around half the games that Clement has managed them in the league. Add the league cup final where Aberdeen should have had two penalties and their goal was another Roos howler.

You can’t slate them as at the end of the day they won those games and you won’t be great every week but that’s at least half those games.

We on the other hand road our luck away to Motherwell but then drew 1-1 with them at home despite not being great Motherwell scored with literally their only chance all afternoon from a corner.

St Johnstone we missed multiple sitters drew 0-0.

Killie away, we should have been 3-0 up before collapsing, similar against Aberdeen there at the weekend.

Hibs Forrest misses a sitter to sneak a 1-0, the way things are going for them they would have scored that.

Hearts at home was garbage but still they had two chances and took both with no imaginary penalties coming to our aid.

Don’t get me wrong our overall play has been poor and below the required standard but it’s not like they have been great. We need to sort ourselves out and focus on what we need to do. Forget about them until April when we play them next.

Big chance to turn things around here and make a statement. Rodgers needs to tweak his tactics and play to the strengths of his squad. Away with the side to side football and go all out attack. I want relentless, 100mph football. Don't give them even a minute to get their breath back.

This is the most important game of the season so far. The Huns have clawed back an 8 point deficit and are level at the top with us. They didn't have to break sweat in order to do this and it wasn't done in a swashbuckling style - we handed it to them.

Time to shape up. Statement win at Easter Road and let those * know that we won't 'surrender' this title.
