……don’t think we’ll see that side though. Would like to see Scales at LB but could we trust the other two in the centre? Abada needs dropped or switched; Palma needs a boot in the hole; and Kuhn and Idah need to start.

 

Don't win here and can pretty much write the league off..

Typically they get battered just before we go there but think we'll win.....there's no other option..

 

* knows how this one will pan out, hopefully an away win but I wouldn’t put money on it.
Too many times this season they put on a show and we think we have turned the corner and the next game is mind numbing *.

 

Honestly, not got a clue here.

We are Celtic after all, every game we play domestically we should be favourites for.

But we all know our frailties (as does every club against us), so honestly, * knows.

Better squads under Rogers have went to Easter road and didn't get a result and our squad at present filled with pish players and not expecting the win on Wednesday and if that happens then * will hit the fan with the support.

 

Season defining, let's hope the players can step up and prpve themselves worthy of the shirt on their backs

I fancy a Celtic win. I know we aren't great and Rodgers record vs hibs isn't great, but they are really bad at the moment. Scraped a win vs forfar and pumped last week in the league.

(..I did say the same about Aberdeen though)

Massive couple of days aye. I actually fancy Aberdeen to take something from the huns. They’re not playing well.. I’ve watched their last few games. They’re just as shaky as us.

 

Since Hibs returned to the Premiership in 2017, Easter Rd not exactly a happy hunting ground for the Hoops...

• Ange is the only manager to win a league game there (he did it twice - once in each season). (W2 D1 L1)
• Lenny won a Scottish Cup game there, but drew every league meeting. (D4)
• Rodgers never won there (D2 L2)

That said, the negativity reading through this thread is pretty incredible. Start of Feb and in a title race, have won both derby games so far and yet people are already conceding the league is over. Seriously.

It's not Feb 2010, when we were 10 points behind and had played 2 games more (so potentially trailing by 16), or 2021, when we were 23 points behind with 2 games in hand (so at best trailing by 17 points). No.

Even if Sevco win their game in hand - and that is IF (admittedly a probable but until they do it is still an IF) - it is still level on points and we are still currently ahead albeit marginally (+2) on GD, with 14 games still to play there is a long way to go. Yes, it's a title race and yes, it's tighter than any of us would like - or expect - to be, but to read so many seemingly be already willing to wave a white flag in surrender in the first week of Feb when it's neck and neck... get a grip.

 

We're favourites in every game.

We have the best squad in the country.

We just actually need to act like it.

 

want us to try something different if only to keep hibs guessing,in fact i will be * off if rodgers plays the same way with the same players. trying to think back to rodgers first spell think rogic was the guy creating a * of a lot of space for the attackers,with the other 2 midfielders sitting a bit deeper , maybe a more attack minded players like kuhn or palma playing in front of mcgregor & o'riley or even if mcgregor was played in that role and bernardo or holm deeper .we need to be creating a * of a lot more chances

 

Time to break that record.

 

Effin' hope so! I've made no secret of my doubts since he's returned, and keep waiting and wanting him to prove me wrong. Want to gladly be made to eat my words, but that's a long way off atm... but am living in hope.
