    There is a major problem with docking points ,it would be to easy for rival groups to masquerade as fans to launch missiles ,no for me ,close the stand where it came from then you will start to get people pointing out the persons .

    So does that mean Hibs fans are now lumped in with us and the filth for throwing objects. So obviously it’s not only a Glasgow problem and only serves to put a spanner in the media outrages. Only thing I thought was crazy that it took until 58 minutes in for the lightweight to finish a half bottle of tonic.:87:

    That's why it wouldn't be kneejerk reaction. There would be due process to identify the culprits. Once identified then action is taken, but wouldn't just be a summary decision made on the spur of the moment. Obviously there would have to be an agreed procedure for all this.

    But with the amount of CC TV, not to mention if people see it and point it out, to weed out these muppets.

    See the thing is, even if it was other fans in amongst the home fans, should you still not blame the club for it happening at that stadium. Say... a Morton fan, at a Celtic-Aberdeen game throws a bottle of wind at Kieran Tierney. Who’s fault is it? Who gets docked points? It would be a weird situation but still plausible.

    Or Richmal on here at a Hun/Motherwell game a few years ago launching something at a random Hun. Do Celtic get points docked?

    @Taz

    I agree that points deductions and stand closures would have a profound impact on most supporters, but in my experience, troublemakers are there for a game, then never seen again - at least at home.

    I think that we should look at our ticket sales policy first.

    Really good professional performance yesterday and big credit to Neil Lennon for setting the team up right to be able to handle the dreadful pitch and weather conditions as well as a physical and in form Hibernian side. We did not create much in the first half but I thought defensively the entire game we were rock solid and never looked like getting scored on. Brilliant goal from James Forrest and a fully deserved win to put us into the semi-final.
