Hello to everyone on the forum new like me or you real old timers!
:bbpd: I posted in the newbies post here but I figured I would seek more attention in my own thread. :52::36::party22:
I have only been a Celtic supporter since the 2008/2009 season and that was about half way through the season when I jumped aboard.
I still have so much to learn.
I have really enjoyed the passion the players put forth on the pitch and the atmosphere that everyone creates at the matches. I really can't wait till I can make my first of hopefully many trips over there. :ynwacelti
I grew up in Michigan most of my life. I lived in Germany for 3 of my 4 years served in the army. After finishing school in Ohio, I moved to Arizona where i have lived since late 1995.
I also support Borussia Dortmund. It is very cool to see both in the knockout rounds this year. It will awesome atmosphere for both clubs but I hope they both make it till at least the quarterfinals. I personally would prefer if Celtic got Dortmund's arch enemy Schalke and did us all a favor by knocking them out.
Oh yeah, my name is Sean. My Mom was a big Sean Connery- James Bond fan.
It is nice to meet everyone here!:50:

Welcome mate! :bbpd: I'm going to be going down to Arizona soon, something tells me I'm going to come back to Washington State and be the only one with a tan :smiley-laughing002:

Truthfully, I equally dread and love the thought of that match up. I don't know if I would rather it be now or later in some classic semi final match up. In either case, I would rather it happen in one of the 2 legged knockout rounds rather than the final IF it was going to happen. I say that as I would love to see both sets of home supporters and massive away support show to the world how beyond awesome both clubs and supporters are. :50:
Mean while, I might be like Lennon was during that penalty kick vs Spartak during both legs hiding under my bed all stressed out. :smiley-laughing002: -
I always loved the fight that the club puts forth on the pitch and luckily one of the football(soccer:31:) tv channels started showing the Scottish league so I got to see more and more matches.
I loved the fact that here was a big club at least in amount of supporters around the world but wasn't some club owned by a person who viewed the club as his toy.
I just knew but have a hard time describing. I usually am pulled to total attractive attack minded football but that isn't the be all end all for me as I despise clubs like Barcelona and Arsenal for example.
I also like Scotland and Ireland as countries. Strangely during my 3 years living in Germany and my once a year travels back over to Europe since 2006, I haven't made it up to either as of yet but I want to fix that. I would love to visit multiple times in my future before we are taken out by the big asteroid.
I am fully clear that you don't have 300 plus sunny days over there like we have here in Arizona and I guess that is okay. :97::icon_mrgreen: -

I work at Intel and there have been many awesome people helping us out from the Ireland Intel over the last year or so. Sadly, they are all going home this month or early January. Sad to see them go, very cool friendly folk that have not only been good co-workers but awesome people! The two guys from my specific area are already asking when I will be heading up to visit Ireland. -
Are you from Brussels? Man, I liked my few days there during a trip last year in October. Mmmm to the chocolate on my Belgium waffles!! :50:
It is hit and miss out here people wise in Arizona. It is alittle too conservative for me but I have survived 17 years out here. I do like that we are a few hours drive from the mountains, desert, and even the ocean out in California. -
Welcome!!

I think Sean Connery was a Celtic fan, but then also a R*ngers fan, before they died, it's a long story and I ain't going into it, but anyway...
Welcome to the forum and Hail Hail! -
Hmmm, James bond was probably tortured into having to claim being a fan of THAT team. I will make myself believe that. :31::smiley-laughing002:
